Japanese Garden and Matcha Parfait Making / 日本庭園と抹茶パフェづくり(English＆Japanese)

I am back home for the Obon holiday. Today I went to "Fujinokuni Tea Museum" to experience making matcha parfait. I was able to take some good pictures, so I am posting them from Liketu for the first time in a while.

Although the typhoon did not hit directly, it was a strange weather today with strong rain falling on and off. I looked at the Japanese garden from the corridor of the tea room, it was so lovely even on a rainy day.

The matcha parfait making was a simple matter of filling plastic cup with pre-prepared ingredients, which was just fine with my second son, who was 5 years old. He seemed impressed, saying, "Parfaits made by myself taste good". My elder son was frustrated because he didn't understand the instructor's instructions well. I told him, "It's just for fun, just fill it up as you like," but he seemed angry, saying, "Making parfaits is not a fun!"...What a man! We didn't go around the museum and went home before the rain got worse.

The shingles that I have posted several times has gone down in pain, but I still have scars. Hopefully it will disappear soon.

お盆のため実家に帰省しています。今日は「ふじのくに茶の都ミュージアム」に抹茶パフェづくり体験に行ってきました。いくつか良い写真が撮れたので、久しぶりにLiketuから投稿します。

台風は直撃はしていないとはいえ、今日は強い雨が降ったりやんだりの変な天気でした。お茶室の廊下から日本庭園を眺めましたが、日本庭園って雨の日でも素敵ですね。

抹茶パフェづくりの方は、あらかじめ用意された材料をプラスチックの器に詰めていくという簡単なものでしたが、5歳の次男もいたのでちょうど良かったです。次男は「自分で作ったパフェは美味しい」と感動している様子でした。長男はというと、途中インストラクターの指示がよく分からなかったといってイライラしていました。「遊びなんだから、適当に詰めれば大丈夫だよ」と私が言うと、「パフェづくりは遊びじゃない！」とお怒りの様子…　もう、なんだこの男😅博物館の方は回らず、雨が酷くならないうちに帰宅しました。

何度か投稿していた帯状疱疹は、痛みはひいてきましたが、まだ痕が残っています。早く消えるといいなあ。。
