Hola Amigos!
Yet Another day and another blog. This is my second blog and Idk why but I am super excited to write it as I am going to share with you all my most favourite place in Delhi also known as my second Home i.e "Lotus Temple". The place where I feel belonged. People say Home is where "Your people are" but I feel the sentence is incomplete without "where your soul seeks solace"
Lotus Temple is a Baháʼí House of Worship.Bahaism is recognized as a combination of the nine great religions of the world. The temple is built in the shape of a floating half open lotus set amidst pools and gardens. This temple has no idols of any God. This really attracted me because even I don't believe in idol worshipping. Humans have completed misunderstood idol worship.
So, I was frustrated by CIA's and also some unforeseen circumstances made me really sad. So this is how I discovered my "Second Home". Without any plan I headed towards the nearest metro station, grabbed a seat , started journaling and after two stations I decided to visit Lotus Temple.

This is how birds welcomed me as if universe itself was receiving me. The day was serene, crowdless.

This was it. Simply BEAUTIFUL. While I was heading closer and closer there was feeling of calmness gradually following me. As I entered the temple there was sudden stillness in me which I used to feel after a trek. I just felt me simply me. I sat down and meditated for 1 hour, journaled in another. I was reconnected with myself once again.

Later I visited Bahai museum, it explained the history behind the religion and I bought one of their book to study about this philosophy and it made sense. I mean sense to 'MY HEART'. I felt belonged. I felt seen after so many days. The guide in the museum was so passionate to solve all my doubts. He blessed me for asking so many questions and enquiring (LOL XD). Now, whenever I visit I surely meet him and we deeply talk about spirituality. I learn so much from him. His knowledge is insane.
So, after all the talks it is kind of a ritual of mine to eat ice-cream that too 'Choco - Brownie' (not sure if I should be this specific or not but my heart said so yaa XD)
As was returning towards the metro station there was some sort of happiness in my soul. I felt positive. There was a unique spark as if I regained my consciousness. There was no I ; I was simply there.

Love and Light,
Gauri

Thank you so much for reading!
xoxo
