Late night swim and then...

I'm always ready for the weekend and this one was no exception. It's been a complex working week and one I'd rather not talk about because I've got nothing positive to say about it other than it ended. Anyway, the weekend is here and that's what truly matters right?

I was at the gun range this morning trying out a new handgun I'm thinking of buying, a second-hand one.

I don't like buying used guns but this one is a pretty nice one and comes with five magazines for a very decent price and much less than I could buy it and the magazines for new. Do I need it? Nope, I don't need it, but one can never have enough guns me buying it from the chap who has some financial issues means he'll have the chance to buy it back if things change for him and he'll get to use it anytime he likes because I'm a good mate and will let him. I wanted to put it through it's paces first and I'm pleased to say it worked well, flawlessly actually. I haven't confirmed the sale yet but the Tanfoglio Match LE is a decent shooter so it's likely I'll say yep and help the guy out of a spot.

I had lunch with a friend of mine afterwards and she bounced a few financial and property-related questions off me over burgers and a couple drinks; it's interesting how often people know the answers to their questions but seek confirmation from others regardless. I gave that to her without giving my opinions, just through making her think things out for herself and coming to her own conclusions, and she's on the right path; the one she knew was right before we chatted but was reluctant to confirm for herself.

Later on, after cleaning guns and making some ammunition, dinner for my partner and I was Thai food, (yum), and afterwards we played some chess over coffee and cheesecake before watching a couple episodes of the current series we're watching...more coffee and maybe a little more cheesecake too. Later on we went for a late night swim, it's been really hot here, and then...none of your business.

Sunday...I'm not telling you about my Sunday because I don't want to...I'll not be going to church though, I'd probably get struck by lightening if I walked into one.
