Pelosi worries Trump 'would poison the public mind' if he narrowly loses reelection bid

I sometimes point out "projection" coming from the lefty mob (meaning, what they accuse you of is exactly what they're guilty of).
But this takes the cake.
This is just silly.
The only way President Trump will accept defeat in the 2020 election is if Democrats win by a big enough margin that he can’t dispute it, argues House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Remember..
and not giving a concession speech until the next day."Russian hackers Russian hackers",
Antifa thugs rioting in the street,
Barack Obama talking about how dangerous it is that there are alternative views on the internet (lowkey blaming the loss on that), and in general snowflakes believing they got wronged somehow and crying all over Facebook (the election is illegitimate and the electoral college is bogus, and whatever helps them sleep at night)..
Whatever whatever. Everyone knows what I mean and what the reaction was.
I don't know what exactly she suspects Trump would say or do, but other than maybe staging a coup or not stepping down, it seems kind of impossible to have a more childish or unaccepting reaction than what they had in 2016.
They're just such lunatics, to so perfectly project themselves so often.
“If we win by four seats, by a thousand votes each, he’s not going to respect the election,” said Pelosi in an interview with the New York Times.
“He would poison the public mind. He would challenge each of the races; he would say you can’t seat these people,” she added, and referenced the 40 House seats gained by Democrats in 2018 midterm elections. “We had to win. Imagine if we hadn’t won — oh, don’t even imagine. So, as we go forward, we have to have the same approach.”
Kind of like how you guys poisoned the #metoo crowd to genuinely believe Judge Kavanaugh is a rapist, and that the US government had approved of a rapist being on its highest court.
Which seems even deeper than political pandering to me. It's toying with the emotions and reaction of people who have been victimized by sexual assault.
It's a thing where obviously Kavanaugh will be approved, because (FBI agrees) there's no evidence beyond allegation. And so then it has to be totally triggering and disturbing to anyone who believed it and believes he's a rapist, any time they see him in his fancy robe on TV.
You literally poisoned their minds, and tried to not seat him.
All for the pursuit of power. Or headlines, or being mad at Trump or whatever.
(Like usual, the groups they claim to help and to support are the ones they needle and feed off of. Keep them feeling dependent so that there's a role for authority and power.)
Ground-level p2p support is the way to help people who need it. Not hashtags and political games.
Trump and republicans
Anyone who has read my blog for the last year or so might think I'm a Republican or a Trump supporter.
I can see why people would think that, and I don't mind coming across that way. But actually I'm not. I'm not into labels, but if there absolutely had to be one it would be anarchist or voluntaryist.
Really it would be that I try to call things however seems accurate. And I happen to think that slavery is wrong, that it's never right to initiate violence against another person's choice or will. That no one is here to be your toy or to be molded or coerced to fit whatever role or system you think is right.
Politically I'm indifferent, and don't really care who wins the next election.
(Other than Trump is super entertaining to me, and if I'm choosing what show I want to watch for the next four years, this one is pretty good.)
I might "support" Trump in more isolated and specific ways. Like when he's right about a specific issue, or good at cutting thru the noise. (Just as I'd support anyone who does that.) But I don't think that elections and who achieves power and control is actually a mechanism towards progress and improvement in the world.
Anything that frees us from depending on this mechanism of power and control is what ultimately matters.
So right now it's just that the left (as tho on tilt from President Trump) has gone so entertainingly far off the rails that it's hard to look at a current events issue and not see a constant stream of nonsense from them.
Wagon/Horse. It's not that I set out to support or defend Trump, it's just that there's so much delusional reaction against him that it ends up being kind of similar to that.
During the Bush era and the banking bailouts and the height of the War On Terror, it might have been more the other way around.
Just not today.
(For an example of a liberal who isn't off the rails, you could see Alan Dershowitz. Fair and reasonable, even if ultimately there's plenty to pick at and disagree with. His type of thinking doesn't really make headlines anymore.)
Evolution of media
It probably has a lot to do with clickbait, world at your fingertips type of media.
You have to be really poignant at getting attention, and both sides probably play more to their extremes.
The "extreme" conservative is basically someone who likes interpreting and playing strictly by a set of known rules (and usually is into free association and laissez-faire type of stuff). So the extreme version is basically just extremely fair and technical and wants to not bother you. Whereas the leftist psyche is more about control and trying to manipulate the outcomes that they want, and so their extreme version is into using emotional ploys to blame and trick and coerce others to get their way.
So to me it feels like it kind of has diverged where the media and the loudest mouths on the right are soooo much more principled and sane than those on the left.
Or in other words when you dial up the intensity of the Right, you basically get more and more consistency. When you dial up the intensity of the Left, you get increasingly unwound and bad.
The Left, in that sense, is better off when both sides are a watered down version of themselves. When both sides are intense, they're weird asf.
