Reaching the gates of Landfall.

I reached Landfall after finding an alternative entrance and was recognized by the Quen guards. Aloy's arrival caused a stir due to her resemblance to their ancestors. After meeting their leader, Ceo, Aloy learned about a dangerous black armored Thunderjaw and offered her help to neutralize it.

I passed a hanging bridge and reached a massive gate, only to discover I couldn't use this route to get on the other side. The path was blocked off, forcing me to turn back and scan the surrounding cliffs for a different entrance.

So I started looking for an alternative way to get to Landfall, and after exploring around for a moment, I finally found the actual entrance to Landfall, which was guarded by two guards.

The tension eased slightly when one of them recognized Aloy from a previous meeting, realizing she wasn't just another wanderer.

While a guard was escorting Aloy inside their tribe, he asked his partner to let their higher authorities know about Aloy's presence there immediately. It was clear that her arrival was a significant event that needed to be reported to the leadership of the Quen tribe.

When Aloy was walking inside the heart of the settlement, the local people there looked shocked to see her. They whispered among themselves and stared with wide eyes, as she looked exactly as their ancestor according to their beliefs.

Aloy met a man named Bohai, whom she told that she needed to talk to Alva. However, Bohai was hesitant and cautious, making sure if Aloy was a threat to them or not before granting any access.

The situation briefly turned hostile when one of the soldiers there was ready to attack Aloy, claiming she had taken some of their men earlier.

Just as the blade was drawn, their leader, Ceo, appeared and commanded them to stand down. He looked remarkably calm and friendly.

Aloy went deeper into the facility to talk with Ceo while she discussed the local troubles with Bohai. He told her about a machine that had their people pinned behind their defenses, preventing them from expanding or securing resources.

During the conversation, Aloy asked about Thebes, seeking information on the ancient site she needed to investigate for her own quest.

Bohai told Aloy about the machine, which turned out to be a Thunderjaw they had dealt with before in limited capacity. However, he warned that this one is tougher and much stronger than usual, featuring a heavy black armor that their weapons could barely scratch.

Recognizing the danger, Aloy mentioned she could help with that.

The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.

SEE YOU.
