Swapped over to orange PET to get some HSW and Dummy parts done.

Went for a wander down to the creek to see how thick the ice is and it has built up pretty well, but the warmer mid days has kept it from fully freezing over.

Still about a foot thick in a lot of the creek.

This time of year the only way we get a good blast of sunshine is by going up on the upper property where it is nice and flat. The hill and mass of trees block the bulk of it from the house and if I want to actually see it fully I have to hike.

Truly absurd how little snow we have gotten this winter... All of 4 inches I think so far... Just crazy and I hope this summer won't be an inferno.

The orange looks kinda cool especially when they go against the black HSW panels. Found the SMA knobs and damn are they killer. I will be printing one for every SMA connector I have.

Had to take J to @stryeyz for them to go to volleyball and Rand I headed over to Sonic for dinner. I'm glad I have service industry experience to see they were short staffed and was mellow and understanding of the extra time taken to get our order. It really is shit for employees to be put under bullshit stress due to short staffing, but the work ethic is such shit for many... Anyway I did take the time to look at the menu online before and was able to save some money by going for the $1.99 menu. Got both of us jr burgers with bacon for less than a regular burger and it was more than enough food with the tots.

I tried vase mode for the first time and am not sure what I think of it. The trashcan borked the bottom due to the v shaped grooves. BUT the icicle came out perfect. It's nice and light and hollow and will work perfect for my Dummy ice climbers.

The second one came out nice but I forgot to take the extra bottom layers off so it has a thick base, but that works as it can be the bottom icicle.

The Kraken played again and the game was back and forth for the first two periods. I knew they were going to get destroyed as soon as I saw Grubauer as the goalie.

It was tied when I went out to soak.

I managed a half hour but the pain in my head was only kept at bay by the coldness of my beer mashed against my face.

I walked in to see them well behind.

So back to the icepack for a while until it was no longer cold but the pain was a good bit lessened.

I found an ice wall that I tried out in vase mode but it didn't exactly work the best. The bottom didn't adhere well on a number of layers but it may work out as a spot for the crampons to touch... I'll see if I can make it work.

And there it was, they lost 7-4. Wen trade Grubauer!?

The pain is much less today but I still feel pressure on the muscles stemming from the abscess area up into my head. Supposedly weather is inbound next days but will likely end up rain here. The printer is going, I'll get the boys to school, roll a new bale in for the sheep, work around the yard on some cleanup before the rains, need to start planning the garden layout, then R has practice this evening and I'll have dinner ready early.
