Nicely the temps had risen markedly to just below freezing. A solid 30 degree difference between mornings.

By 7 it was fully snowing but not super heavy. The boys were off school but @stryeyz forgot and went to wake them up for school, J is like me and once he is awake stays awake while R passed right back out.

I did a test print to see how my printer is handling the workload I have it under and it seemed to do okay. I have to figure out the stringing with the PET which I think is the too high of heat setting for the upper layers.

The boys ended up outside for a while during the day playing in the snow. Around noon we had gotten about an inch.

At noon the print was done with a bunch of parts for the HSW. I like the part on the left, it's a box holder and I have oodles of sizes which are meant for the kit boxes like the M3 box. They slide in on the edge and I've got a few uses in mind for other sizes already.

The house plants in the studio needed watering and with the coop hose bib frozen I had to haul from the house. I filled 6 jugs at the frost free by the deck and then hauled them to the studio. The plants are doing great under the grow light.

At 3 R and I went to town and I dropped him with @stryeyz so she could take him to his appointment. The roads were okay but I still stayed in 4wd the whole time. I was able to stay at normal speed on the way in. On the way home I was AMAZED... AMAZED I TELL YOU!!! I was in the line headed north and a Subaru with Idaho plates was right in front of me. Traffic was stupid and I rode the rumble strip a couple times to which the vehicles moved over. The Subaru then hauled ass and I was right behind as we sped north.

I say all this because to see an Idaho plated vehicle going MY normal speeds is a 1 in 10,000 or so chance. Normal m/o for Idaho plated vehicles is exactly the speed limit with nary a waver. I gleefully followed him at well over the speed limit for about 5 miles until it was my turn.

Back home the next part came off the printer which is the basket that I was going to use for the spare toilet paper rolls in the bathroom but turns out it is too small for the rolls... Not the worst thing since it will get used somewhere. So I put the right sized one on to print which added an hour to the print time over the first one. The first I did at 130mm wide by 180 tall. The next is 150x170 and the rolls fit MUCH better now.

It took them a while to get home from R's appointment so it was later when we headed out to dinner. We got to Cinola about 6:30 and the place was hopping. Apparently they had been slammed all day long, turning people away slammed.

It ended up an hour before our meal but that was not a problem. The food was delicious and the waitress was great. We had totally forgotten it was Valentine's day and a Friday which was the uber busy. The waitress hooked us up with the heart brownies from their special for desert.

As we were standing to leave an older gentleman who was seated behind us stood and stopped me to say how much he enjoyed the "music" from our table, the family enjoying, the kids happy. It was pretty cool.

During the day I had been working on the HSW panel in the bathroom over the toilet. It took a bit to get the hair dryer to sit properly but it isn't taking up too much room. The other basket will be for the extra rolls and I will install it this morning.

We were home from dinner in time to see the Chiefs play Tri-cities for the 2 periods. They had it tied starting the 3rd period but then went down 4-2 until near the end when they tied it up. It went to OT then to shootouts which is where they lost. Still a great comeback and they got a point out of it.

THIS FELT GRRRRRRREAT! Hit the 54 first then 60 and 60. Closest to 180 I have been in months, aside from the wired 140s.

I headed out to soak for a bit and managed the single cycle before heading for bed.

Nice and cold/warm this morning at 22F and cloudy. There is snow tonight which could be up to 4 inches.
I have the printer going already with more HSW parts, shelves specifically to begin, should move some snow before the next round hits, clean in the house, and then maybe grill for dinner.
