Root Canal, Stamp, 3Dping, Filter Clean, HSW, R/O Filter Swap, Krumble, SEERING ABSCESS PAIN - Monday

It was finally time yesterday morning, I headed into town for my 7am root canal. It was supposed to be about an hour and a half but went a good bit longer. The numbing injections hurt due to the amount he had to put in, then the root canal itself went just fine. The problems ended up when he was nearing the end and went to take xrays. I HATE the fucking hard bite wings as it bashed the inside of my gums and the tag on my tongue. He eventually got a good clear one and saw that there had been a small pocket that had remained open in the canal so he had to take the temp filling out and refill the canal. THIS took a good bit extra time but in the end it was done.
It was after 9:30 when I was heading for home and as I neared the bypass onramp I was behind one of the fuel tankers and I had to laugh. The Trump sticker on the back just made me think "Trump Stamp" instead of "Tramp Stamp".
The numbing took all morning to wear off and I spent my day trying to take it easy as it had my system rather off. The ache began to creep in after noon.
I had not put anything on the printer while I was at the dentist so got it going once home.
Around noon I noticed the distinct numbness disappearing and in its place a sore ache took over. I got my permanent filling appointment scheduled with my regular dentist so will have that done next week.
The central heater filter was atrocious and in dire need of cleaning. I took it out to the air compressor and blasted it for a good while until the air blew clear.
The HSW panels are pretty slick and I got the second one installed by my computer and it REALLY cleans my desk up a ton. It's a small shame that this is as big as I can print but it works.
Mid afternoon I kicked off the R/O water and drained it out then changed out the filters. I need to get on a better schedule of swapping them since these were in need for sure.
This is a nifty camera rig for kites.
It's meant to hold a gopro type camera from below while strung from above and as the wind hits the cups it slowly rotates the camera below in 360 circles. I was rather curious about the various parts that I can use in oodles of other situations. Hell I can even make a whirlygig for the farm, an anemometer, a rotating plant stand, and tons more.
The hygrometer stand is nice and light and it works perfect for mounting.
The Kraken played Edmonton and where doing really well for the first period and part of the second..
I'm getting better at using up the spools of filament and am learning to judge the remains pretty well.
They held the score through into the third but then got slapped by the open goal net and lost 4-2. But they did play well and together.
So THAT'S when I made the big mistake for the day. I went and got in the hot tub. At 102 the hot water felt really nice on my body but within moments my head began to heat up and as it did all the muscles started to expand and the pain from the abscess went off the charts. I had seem in the xray that some shit had been pushed out the bottom of the root into the abscess so it had more food to chew on which I think was part of the pain. I was out within about 10 minutes.
I slammed the ice pack against my head and slowly the pain began to lessen. I swear there is NO PAIN ON EARTH like pain in the head, it can't be ignored.
This is what it felt like, a sword being rammed through my skull, or so I can only assume since I've not had that lobotomy done. I am taking a course of antibiotics to combat the abscess and force closure the channel.
Almost ran out the spool with the scraper. It'll likely run it dry on a glider or two this morning.
The pain is much less this morning but the dull ache is still there and likely will be for a bit. Shitty air stagnation warning for the next days which means little winds, maybe Thursday some winds...? It's like 6F outside right now so it will be a bit later this morning before I get outside for any tasks. I'll get the printer going soon, boys to school, clean in the house more, make repairs to tons of things now that I have the bottle of Starbond glue, and keep dinking in Blender on the HSW stand.
