3DPrinting HSW Parts, Shoveling and Moving Snow, Wires, Best Hockey Game Ever, Snow - Saturday

The basket print finished overnight and yesterday morning it was waiting for me. The stringing on it was pretty bad but I figured out the best way to deal with it.... FLAME. I took it over to our gas stove in the kitchen, turned on the big burner, then rotated the basket over the flames quickly. It worked exactly like singeing hair. Nice and fast and easy.
I found a good shelf model and got a pair printed out next.
The shelf and the basket went up in the bathroom and work perfectly. The basket is now big enough to fit he rolls and the shelf hold the qtips.
Thanks to help from @thelogicaldude I fiddled with the setting and got the white PETG to print without the stringing.
The weather was calling for snow but not until later in the day. The wall was headed our way mid day though.
With it inbound I figured I had better move some snow in preparation. I had a nice bout of sunshine while I shoveled.
Not enough to use the snowblower so it was shovel work. I really wanted paths cleared more than anything.
A full 4 sections takes 7 hours to finish printing, 1 3/4 hrs per piece. This one started just before 1pm.
The wall was headed our way as it was getting dark.
Panel 2 off the printer and a wire holder started right away.
It was only 23 minuted for the wire holder to be done and I got the next panel started.
The wire holder got installed in the bathroom to hold the various plugs on the wall to keep them organized and far more accessible.
BEST HOCKEY GAME EVER! 3 fights in the first 9 seconds of the US vs Canada! Both Tkachuk brothers and Miller were in the box. It was a killer game all around. The passion being shown by all the players was on full display.
Canada got the first goal then the US tied it up.
This was great. I threw the two triples then looked over to the tv in the living room as I threw the last one that went perfectly into the double. The no look throws are good to see if the arm is following the prior throw.
Then in the second period the US got the goal to go into the lead which the didn't let go of.
Panel 3 done.
And the US with the 3rd goal in the empty net to win the game.
The last panel came off about 8:45 and I turned the printer off for the night.
The storm had moved over and the snow was falling as we headed out to soak.
Before I went to bed it was dumping pretty well. It ended up being about 2.5" this morning.
It's still snowing a bit this morning, I'll move snow with the snowblower, Man Utd are going to get destroyed by Spurs, then we are going Skiing this afternoon at 49.
