Congregation of "Midnight in Paris"

There must be some films that you can invariably re-watch whenever you find such scope.
Midnight in Paris is one of those for me.
And each time I repeat, something different reveals itself that surprisingly had gone unnoticed previously! Which makes re-watching more interesting.
This time it was something about Luis Bunuel, that I never noticed before in this movie!
Before I proceed any further let me summarize the movie "Midnight in Paris" for you in brief (though I am convinced most of you have watched it years ago!)
Cinema: Midnight in Paris
Gil Pander is an aspired to be writer struggling to complete his novel. In between, he visits Paris with his fiancé and her parents for pre-wedding shopping.
Gil adores Paris like his beloved unrequited crush that never had a chance to bloom! Specifically, rain in Paris is his most enticing part of Paris. However, his fiancé is a very cliché, modern woman. Beautiful yet for not having an artistic mind, she barely could respond to subtle artistic wishes of him .
At one evening party, Gil being bored of all the superficiality, escapes the party and starts to wander around on unknown streets of Paris. Eventually, he lost the direction of his hotel and sat on a quiet corner beside the road.
Out of the blue, there appears a car where a man was drinking and invited Gil to join! Puzzled yet curious Gil join them which turned out to be an extremely perplexing yet marvelous night journey for Gil.
He starts to meet the famous artists, authors, and some other relatively outstanding people from the twentieth century every night!
His mind and soul became all chaotic; enticing, nervous, delighted, and every extent of excitement he could feel!
Let's address some specifications of this cinema
I appreciate Woody very extensively for being such scrupulous while presenting the characters of history.
Yes...she is an absolute beauty, I know. But in this film, she was like totally a surreal one. Whenever she appeared on the screen, I can not see anything but gawking only her!
Woody took her manifestation to a deity level!
And, this applies to the rest of the characters he portrayed as well.
Afterwards, I will heighten Allens' cinematography.
The way he depicted those nights in Paris...heaven! I remember the first time I had watched this movie, I re-watched it immediately after once again only to watch the scenes of Paris!
And mainly the night atmosphere, the streets, the shops even the lights...everything was so soothing to watch!
Even I sense as if I can almost smell the rain from the movie!
And mannn...the Cole Porter song "Let's do it" matched so well!
I came to know about Cole from that movie!
Damn! This voluble about movie has become quite long already! We shall talk about Luis Bunuel presented by Woody Allen next day perhaps!
For now, let's listen to Cole Porter...
And that's why birds do it, bees do it
Even educated fleas do it
Let's do it, let's fall in love
All photos are snapped from the movie itself.
