My life hack

  Everyone has a way they live their life, everyone has what works for them.

The moment you find what works for you, that's the moment you start living your life up to your own expectation.

As a growing girl, I had so many things wrong, I took so many things the wrong way, not because I want to but because I just wasn't exposed early to how life works.

One life hack that has always worked for me since I realized it is the placement of priority while taking decisions. By that I mean "the most important person to consider while taking any life decision is me". For instance, while I was growing up, I told myself I was going to be a lawyer because they are so cool and everyone around me would be happy to have a lawyer to defend them If there would be any need to one. In this above decision, what I want wasn't important, the kind of future I would have wasn't considered, the top consideration was the people around me. Not that it's wrong to be considerate of the people around but it's not proper to do that at the expense of your own happiness.
 
But today, I'm a student if English and literary Studies because I realized that before I could make anyone proud I need to first of all make myself proud.

In my decisions now. The first question I ask my self is...

Is this the right thing to do?

Would I be happy for this decision I'm about to take.
 
So instead of asking "would people like this dress" I ask my self "Do I look confident in this dress." Because the most important person to me is me.

Instead of asking. "What would people think if I do this" I end up asking "is this the right thing to do and do I really want to do this." Because the first person I need to proved myself to is me.
 

 
Not that people opinion doesn't matter. They do, when I say they do I mean so much. I once came across a random quote on social media and it says The people around you are the mirror of your life. So no doubt that people's opinions matters but the person whose opinion is needed most in your life is YOU.

Since I started living with this particular life hack, I have really lived a happier life.
