Consultas Medicas de Rutina | Vida Mamá [ESP-ENG]

Cuando eres mamá, la vida no tiene tiempo para pausas, así que entre una actividad y otra, también están las citas médicas por rutina o como les llaman aquí: Control Niño Sano.

La semana pasada y esta, les tocó el turno a Ammy y Joaquín, mi hija mayor y mi hijo menor, ambos estaban felices, extrañamente, durante la espera y consulta, sin embargo al ser un centro de salud público, toca llegar antes y esperar más para que puedan atenderte. Ese día Joaquín estuvo en la mañana en terapia y luego en esta consulta, así que llegó un momento en el cual simplemente se cansó de esperar y entre tantas cosas, se cayó (nada grave), y se hizo un morado.

Los médicos tienen la manía de regañar a los pacientes hagan o no las cosas bien. El hecho es que Ammy y Joaquín están muy bien en peso y talla, fui más que todo por los desmayos de Ammy para ver si le dan cita con un especialista ya que aquí todo es un proceso y no, no señora por un desmayo no hay razón para ello 😱, ajá entonces si uno no los lleva uno es el mal padre. Pero bueno, seguimos en la lucha, ya que uno privado es costoso y si le mandan a hacer evaluaciones, más caro aún.

Así que con Ammy tuve que ir a dos consultas diferentes, en dos centros de salud diferentes, porque así son aquí, y digo esto no por quejarme, si no para que sepan cómo funciona el sistema de salud público, que además tarda muchísimo en asignar una cita médica, para luego no lograr nada o muy poco. Estás cosas no son de un país en específico, son de América Latina como tal y más que todo.

Así que toca insistir y no desistir, hasta poder lograrlo. Lo que el ministerio de salud público no sabe, es que las mamás no nos damos fácilmente por vencidas, para no decir, que nunca lo hacemos 😂💪🏻.

Last week and this week, it was the turn of Ammy and Joaquín, my eldest daughter and my youngest son, both were strangely happy during the wait and consultation, however, being a public health centre, you have to arrive earlier and wait longer so that they can attend to you. That day Joaquín was in therapy in the morning and then in this consultation, so there came a moment when he simply got tired of waiting and among so many things, he fell (nothing serious), and got a bruise.

Doctors have a habit of nagging patients whether they do things right or not. The fact is that Ammy and Joaquín are very well in weight and size, I went mostly because of Ammy's fainting to see if they would give her an appointment with a specialist because here everything is a process and no, no ma'am for a fainting spell there is no reason for it 😱, aha then if you don't take them you are the bad parent. But well, we continue in the fight, since a private one is expensive and if they send you for evaluations, even more expensive.

So with Ammy I had to go to two different consultations, in two different health centres, because that's the way they are here, and I say this not to complain, but so that you know how the public health system works, which also takes a long time to assign a medical appointment, and then achieve little or nothing. These things are not specific to any one country, but to Latin America as a whole and more than anything else.

So we have to insist and not give up, until we are able to achieve it. What the public health ministry doesn't know is that we mothers don't give up easily, not to say that we never do 😂💪🏻.
