Laguna Socompa - Lake Socompa

It is a small lake at the foot of Socompa volcano in Salta Province (Argentina), close to Chile, and located at an elevation of 3570 metres ( 11710 ft) above sea level in the Argentinean Andean volcanic system, the hydrothermal water is 26°C. This is the Puna Argentina.

I work in Milan (Italy). I am a seismologist researcher, when I have the opportunity I break the office routine and explore the world.
