@ducecrypto
Welcome to my first Splinterlands Seasonal Report Card in 2026. It's a new year, but still the same me waiting until the last day of the current season to post about last season. Still me, fleeing from more than half of my @sps.dao tournament events. Still me, picking up where I left off in 2025, earning about 2x as much from working my land plots than I do from all other SPS income streams combined. But enough about me, let's get into the numbers!
Match Report
Performance
| Stat | # Modern | # Wild |
|---|---|---|
| Rank | Champion I65 | Champion I41 |
| Rating | 4300 | 4840 |
| Rating High | 4580 | 4880 |
| Ratio (Win/Loss) | 1.22 (137/112) | 1.40 (169/121) |
| Longest Streak | 7 | 9 |
In Ranked play, S174 started strong for me in Modern, as I breezed through Champion 3 more quickly than usual on my way to Champ 1 within the first week of the season. As you can see from my performance chart, I had a seasonal high rating of 4580, which is 14 wins past the Chapmion 1 threshold.
But after I hit that 4580 mark, I came crashing down to earth. I suffered a few brutal losing streaks while playing against some of the best accounts and players in all of Praetoria. With two days left in the season, I had fallen all the way back down to 4300. I decided to let Modern rest and have the bot use the rest of my energy in Wild. I didn't want to lose my Champion 1 rating so close to the end of the season!
In Modern Ranked, I finished the season winning 137 of 249 battles for a 55% win rate.
In Wild Ranked, I finished the season winning 169 of 290 battles for a 58.3% win rate.
I would have preferred to play more manual battles in Modern than automated battles in Wild, but it was a very busy start to the year once I got back home from my New Year's trip with friends. I am thankful for the ability to automate my account when I don't have the time in my schedule to take advantage of all my daily energy.

My Ranked Rewards once again look very juicy based on my early-season success in Modern. The earlier one can climb the ranks, the earlier one can earn higher SPS payouts at higher ratings. Despite playing fewer Modern battles in S174 than I did last season in S173, I still enjoyed a strong combined SPS inflow over 10K from the two formats.
In Modern Ranked, I earned 7203.7 SPS, averaging to 52.6 SPS per win and 28.9 SPS per battle.
In Wild Ranked, I earned 3533.5 SPS, averaging to 20.9 SPS per win and 12.2 SPS per battle.
Combining all ranked battles, I earned 10737.2 SPS, averaging 35.1 SPS per win and 19.9 SPS per battle. If I can manage to play more Modern battles than Wild, I ought to be able to get my average SPS per win close to 40 and my SPS per battle over 20. We'll see how it goes next season!
I guess I didn't physically sign up for any tournaments during S174, thus the tournament section didn't populate in this report. But I've been tracking all of my @sps.dao tournament results since the start of 2025, so I've got all the data I need to make my own report. But I'll just warn you ahead of time, the numbers continue to be ugly as I struggle to find the time in the morning to play my tournament battles before work.
The good news is that from the 21 tournaments that paid out during S174, I earned a total purse of 5523 SPS. But it could have been much better. At the start of 2025, I was easily earning over 10K SPS from my tournament involvement. But I was also playing in more of the events.
In S174, for example, I fled Day 1 from 12 of the 21 events I registered for. That means I just donated wins and DEC for over half of them. Pathetic! In two other events, I only got a few wins before fleeing the rest of Day 1 battles for a minimum prize finish.
Sadly, I only played ALL of Day 1 in 7 of my 21 events in S174. Honestly, it is quite insane that I can even earn over 5500 SPS from such a poor showing. At least for the four events I played well enough to make Day 2, I remembered to finish three of them for strong finishes.
⭐ SPS Report
| Type | ⭐ Amount |
|---|---|
| Staking Rewards | 1954.585 |
| Ranked Rewards as above | 10737.170 |
| Brawl Rewards | 449.235 |
| Land Rewards | 23142.154 |
| NET SPS | 36283.144 |
Regarding the other SPS revenue streams, Land Rewards continue to exceed my expectations each season. Now I'm clearing over 23K SPS from about 3 harvests each season (I time them to my completed brawls).
Brawl Rewards continue to sag as more people fight over the same-sized pie. And finally, my Staking Rewards continue to hold steady just under 2K for the season. From here though, those staking rewards will decrease as I unstaked about 400K SPS for the Escalation presale coming up in a few weeks.
What a great way to start the new year with a successful Season 174. I earned a mind-blowing 36283 SPS from staking, brawl, land, and ranked rewards. Combined with the 5523 SPS I earned from tournaments, I received 41806 SPS in S174. Based on today's spot price of 0.008 USD, I earned over $334 in value from the SPS token alone. There's also over 1.5M Glint from ranked rewards that provides me Merits, Scrolls, Potions, and Reward Cards as additional benefits beyond the SPS token.
It is a glorious time to play in Praetoria. See you there! Until next time...
