Fenech (Vulpes zerda) is a miniature fox with a peculiar appearance.

AREA:

common in the sandy deserts and semi-deserts of northern Africa and northern Sinai.

PLACES OF EXISTENCE: fennec inhabits sandy deserts and semi-deserts,

where he likes to stick to thickets of grass and sparse bushes,

which provide him with shelter and food.

LIFESTYLE: fennec is nocturnal. Lives in bunks that he digs himself. They mostly live in family groups that can

number up to ten individuals. It can do without water for a long time, getting liquid from meat, berries and leaves.

They feed on small vertebrates, eggs, insects, remains of animal origin, plant roots and fruits.

The average lifespan is 10-12 years, WEIGHT: up to 1500 grams
