Chital Pitha

Chital Pitha is a traditional Bengali sweet, which is especially popular during winters. The pithas are cooked very nicely with coconut and milk. The specialty of these pithas is its soft and smooth texture. The sweetness created by the mixture of coconut and milk makes chital pitha incomparable.

The consistency of the milk and the coconut flavor in the pies are perfectly balanced. The sweet aroma and soft taste stick to the mouth while eating. Some brown parts on top of the pita, made with a combination of jaggery or roasted coconut. It makes it more attractive and tasty.

Chital pitha is usually prepared for pitha festival or any special occasion. It is an essential part of Bengali culture and has held a place in people's hearts for ages. The pies in this picture really carry the touch of love made in a home environment.
