What is Ocean Sustainability?

Ocean sustainability counts for so much. It's probably our last chance to get things right on this planet. It's all about treating the oceans right. Not the way we have treated the land so far.

Recently there has been a big move towards

. But there are concerns we have about the practices behind servicing the market on a global scale.

That, and some other factors need to be considered. Did you know that Sea Moss grows almost anywhere?

You could be getting Sea Moss from waters that are polluted with runoff from land based farming operations, untreated sewerage, industrial discharges, or dirty storm water. Not what any of us want.

Knowing that you're getting your Sea Moss from places where these are not happening brings more than just peace of mind.

As much as Sea Moss is great for cleaning up the waters of the ocean, we won't source from Seaweed Farmers who have crops that are exposed to poor quality waters.

Taking into consideration tidal flows and currents, we work with Sea Moss Farmers who are located in some amazing places. The sort of places that you'd visit on vacation and upload photos of to Instagram.

Just because they are this clean and picturesque doesn't mean we don't run laboratory tests on their Sea Moss. When we do these tests, we share the data with the Farmers so they can improve their practices and market position.

Our goal in this is to help them reach an audience with stronger conviction and hard proof.

This way, they can command a better price for their crops, and others in the area are hopefully encouraged through this to improve their practices too.

This way everyone wins!

There's a strong argument for the ocean being a source of plant based sustenance, and more people are beginning to listen.
