Hey guys, so I just find out about the new INLEO monthly prompt initiative and boy am I excited! INLEO is a gift that keeps on giving! I received a free premium subscription from INLEO about a week ago, and today, I found out INLEO is taking strategic steps to help people be more active and write more? Man!

Anyways, this is my first entry to this initiative. We’re currently on the #februaryinleo and on #wednesdaytech . The prompt for today is …

A device that can change lives

First of all, I believe whoever chose the prompt for today was trying to remind us or point us all in the direction of one device that’s currently trending – The Apple Vision Pro.

If that was not the intention, well that was a pretty darn good coincidence because I can’t think of a better life-changing device than the Apple Vision Pro!

This device has LITERALLY come to change everything in our lives. Social media will no longer just be lifeless images, zoom callings will no longer be a thing, work from home will become a lot more interesting, we finally get the Ready Player 1 gaming experience, long distance relationships will become more fun, online studies and examinations will become super easy, cinemas might become less popular, you name it.

If you haven’t caught on yet, the life-changing device this post is about is the Apple Vision Pro

The Apple Vision Pro

This is probably the coolest Virtual Reality headset you’ve ever seen. It’s not a virtual reality headset, but I’m calling it that because that is what most people are familiar with. In reality, it a mixed reality headset. I think Apple called it that because it is capable of showing you both a virtual reality and your real environment at the same time.

With this device, say byebye to smartphones and all the limitations that come with it. The vision pro gives you a screen as wide as your imagination to work with, and a spatial work station where you can do everything with your eyes, hands, and voice commands.

This see-through ability of the vision pro and the fact that it ditches controllers/joysticks are some of the things that make it different from the typical VR Headset. Most other competitors only immerse you in a virtual reality, completely cutting your touch with real reality off. With the vision pro, depending on your preference, you can sort of blur your augmented reality a bit, allowing you move around in reality itself more without tripping or accidents. So you can wear it whiles driving or watching a movie on it whiles doing the dishes without worrying about dropping “your phone” or spilling water on it.

The device is completely covered in cameras on the outside and in, the outside to scan things in your environment, and the inner to scan your face to create your avatar to use in things like facetime or meetings or things like that.

Another awesome thing I like about it is how you’re able to open windows or screens, leave them hanging somewhere in your environment, walk away from them, and come back to see them still where you left them. In my opinion, this declutters your space and allows you to have a very organized working environment.

I believe it will be enjoyed more by apple users, because for instance, I’ve seen people scan their mac screen’s, copying the content and moving into a sort of spatial workplace where you can continue can go Tony Stark with your work. It’s also incredible the resolution this thing has even after zooming in significantly.

I like the psychology Apple used on the Vision Pro’s page.

“You’ve never seen everything like this before” instead of saying “You’ve never seen anything like this before”. Because truth is, we HAVE seen things like it before. In fact, a certain faction of apple haters have decided to mock the vision pro by comparing it to the Meta Quest 3, a VR Headset developed by Reality Labs. What I will say is true though is that for the average person, the Quest 3 probably will serve you just fine. However if you have and are willing to spend the extra money, get the Vision Pro for a PRO experience.

PS: The VR Headset we're using here is a regular gaming VR Headset, not the Apple Vision Pro.
