For the longest time I have longed to be able to summon multiple beasts as a druid in diablo 2, for those who don't know you can only either have 5 spirit wolves, 3 dire wolves, or a bear and not all at the same time.

That all changed when in April 14, 2023, Patch 2.4 went live. The patch made a lot of changes across the board, but what I find most interesting is the fact that the druid can now summon all the animals in the summoning skill tree.

Spirit wolves now deal cold damage, able to slow down foes they bite, I really like Spirit wolves as they are able to teleport to attack your enemies.
They are accessible at level 6 and compared to dire wolves or a grizzly bear they deals very little damage, you can have five of them though.

Dire wolves are a step up higher than the spirit wolves, they deal relatively high damage but can't teleport. What's interesting about them is they can eat corpses to increase their damage output, They are accessible at level 18 and you can have a maximum of three.

There's also the grizzly bear, It's a bear. Deals high damage and have high amounts of health. Accesssible at level 30, maximum of 1.

The ravens are the druid's most powerful pet, basically they divebomb and peck the eyes of your enemies with a chance of blinding them. They are ridiculously high damage and are invulnerable, they are however not permanent summons and with enough hits disappear and required to be recast, accessible at level 1 and a maximum of 5 ravens.

Besides the creatures mentioned above. the druid can also summon a vine, I have the poison creeper, that lays down poisonous noodles on the ground.

As well as a spirit, The Oak Sage spirit emits an aura that increases maximum life.

Patch 2.4 really gave love to druid summoners in diablo 2. Druid summoners are not really a thing, If you want a summoner class in diablo 2 you'd go for the necromancer just because you can access curses specifically amplify damage or decrepify.

Well that's all I want to talk about, It really is nice to be able to summon all of them at once. 😊
