I'm going to start this off with some honesty. I have never played a Serious Sam game until now. Shocking, I know. This is one of the most quirky and fun FPS franchises ever to exist. You can thank Xbox Game Pass for finally allowing me a fair chance to see what Serious Sam is all about.

Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem is an action-packed first-person shooter developed by Croteam and published by Devolver Digital. Released in 2022 as a standalone expansion to the popular Serious Sam series, the game transports players to the icy landscapes of Siberia, where they must once again confront hordes of relentless enemies threatening humanity's existence. With its over-the-top action, massive battles, and trademark humor, Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem offers an adrenaline-fueled experience that pays homage to classic shooters while delivering modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals.

At the core of Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem is its non-stop, run-and-gun gameplay. Players take on the role of the titular hero, Sam "Serious" Stone, as he blasts his way through waves of enemies using an arsenal of powerful weapons. I had no doubts that this game would be fun as hell with plenty of crazy. I wasn't disappointed and received exactly the type of game that I had pictured in my mind, except it was much harder than I had anticipated. I now see why Serious Same has such a cult following.
