I think this should qualify as a part of my laziness porn too. Sam Ovens is a guy who say a lot of counter-intuitive things. I like this type of guys. But Sam Ovens is special. He has $65 million net worth and on top of that he has crated 21 other millionaires and many more who are 6 figure income earners. He is just 30 years old and he has his business experience. You better put some weight to his words instead of some random journalist or opinion person on TV or Medium or NYT.

The video covers a lot about Sam's own business and some of the incidents that happened. Here is what is covered.

  • How company performed worse with more people and better with less.
  • Why communication is a cost and a destructive inefficiency in business.
  • The "n(n-1)/2" problem. (Google sheet included).
  • "Information Architecture"
  • The tree components to the solution: Context, people, and content.
  • Centralized, decentralized, and distributed systems and how they work.
  • Why open plan offices are a BAD idea and a stupid modern day corporate fashion/fad.
  • he problems with our old NYC office and my blueprints for our new LA office "The Human Collider".

These are information from areal business guy with a $65 USD net worth. It's a great behind the scenes look.
