I've Been Drinking From A Moldy Container For Years Now

The Thermos that I was using for more than two years now wasn't cleaned thoroughly because my mother believed that the parts particularly the rubber parts cannot be taken off. Unfortunately I believed her so my Thermos wasn't cleaned thoroughly all these past few years.

So it is was rinsed lightly with soap and water all these times with my old toothbrush and from then on that I was using it thanks to my mother. I was complacent enough to believe my mother so I just had let it pass like that since I am using it everyday since I bought it and never had really put a thought about it from that point.

Now I told my mother to show her that the rubber parts can be taken off to be thoroughly cleaned. So you can just expect the mold behind the rubber stopper and it is just disheartening to see it in that condition all these times.

So I told my mother to submerge it to a pure chlorine bleach but not enough to weaken the rubber that makes it flip when I open it. Now it is submerged in vinegar so that it will at least kill some more molds and maybe bleach it some more.

I might be using it tomorrow again because I just needed it. I might also buy another one, spots type that is easier to clean this time and doesn't have much parts to clean but still have that flip-type function that I liked although it had a bigger hole with its spout, designed for cold drinks as much as possible.

I Would Like To Use This One Because It Has A Detachable Rubber Stopper (colored green) In The Cap

I might buy this one soon because it is seemingly easier to clean but it is just expensive so it may take a while. Well I needed it so I might buy it anyway.
