That funny incident

There is this moment that makes me laugh anytime I remembers it. It was a football competition between my class then (jss3) and a Senior class (ss1) , you know normally, we have been facing ourselves that we are going to beat them that day and they also said they will beat us , before I forgot too, it was only girls competition. Due to sport so hold once in a week, we already know where each of us are good at, those at keeper, defender and real players .

Actually I was a player during sport and I believe that's what I'm going to do that day, just pass ball or take it to the post . When the they came, I was made player as expected,on the long run, ball came to me last this time around and I'm expecting to take it to our opponent court, on my way going, people were hailing me, cos I have left people far behind me, no one to attack me at all, it was only me and our opponent keeper.

I was almost there and for me to kick the ball high, I couldn't kick hard at all, all strength lost and that was how the keeper with no stress took the ball 🤣. Shame that day, ehnn I almost entered the ground, people that were praising me before started abusing me, that game was later won by our opponent but all blame was on me , it wasn't funny that day.

It was after that day that it became funny to me ,till date whenever I remember that incident,I just laugh because I know better now, the mistake I made was to first relax from the speed am bringing,then kicks the ball.
