Urban Escapes: Exploring the City and Hitting the Mall

Living in the province provides us with every kind of peace we need, as well as every beautiful scenery our community has to offer. However, I cannot deny the fact that I still crave the city life I once had for half a year. And whenever I do, my partner and I take some time traveling to the city and enjoy the day like we used to way back.

We started our ordinary day with a plan to go to the city. And since my partner already has his driver's license, we can go on a ride on our motorbike instead of commuting. We put on our helmets and hit the road together, with some plans running through our minds.

After almost an hour of riding, we were finally in the city. Of course, it's the bustling streets that gave us the realization that we're already there. We went straight to the place we wanted to go to, the SM City Mall.

When we arrived, we had to park our motorbike in the mall's parking lot. It is safe and secure here, as a security guard is overseeing the vehicles.

We walked for another 5 minutes before reaching the mall. The stores, restaurants, and other stalls inside welcomed us. Many colorful designs are hanging between the escalators for people to see and admire. And of course, I will not forget taking pictures of them.

Since it took us almost an hour to drive, we were already hungry upon arrival. And it's part of our plan. We wanted to have our lunch in the mall and at one of our favorite restaurants, Chowking. I just ordered everything we wanted and craved, then had them served at our table. For the other things we did in the mall, they will be shared in the following blogs.
