I've been asking around as to what I can do to help out right now and I have already given my witness votes via proxy to @theycallmedan . And I'm told that even though I only have about 2600 steem power that every little bit helps and powering any little bit helps.

The truth is that I have reached an important liquid steem goal of mine and I don't want to power it up because it is something I've been working toward for a long time in order to buy btc or at least diversify a bit. I am 100% invested in steem and managed to turn $4000 of crypto holdings into around $1000 of steem. So I have stopped powering up and saved 3000 steem in liquid form as I earned.

I know 3000 isnt a lot compared to all the whales and dolphins helping the witnesses and it won't move the needle a bunch so I have decided to enjoy my work and cap my liquid savings to 3000 steem. Moving forward I will power up all my earnings until the witnesses and the community decide we are on safer ground.

I realize I only earn about 1 steem a day but that should also tell you how hard I have worked to save up 3000 liquid on 50/50 payouts. I thought it would be wise for high staked accounts to be voting for accounts who have given their witness votes away via proxy so maybe I will get a few higher votes now that I will be powering up 100% of my new earnings. We will have to wait and see at that but I feel like powering up my daily 1 steem along with my witness votes for the community at least a symbolic gesture which shows I'm with the community especially since I considered powering down and selling out last week.
