Since I have decided to change my posting schedule, I figured I would define what can be posted about in the coming 'progress' posts.

To me, progress can be divided into a bunch of sub-genres, so to say.
Som areas could be technology, medicine, education, and social achievements. There are many, many more, this is just to give you an idea.

Now, how would you define progress in a given circumstance?

Medicine

The progress we are seeing now is something that, in my opinion, should have happened a long time ago. I mean, what was the purpose of Viagra instead of a cure for cancer? Of course, there are a lot of things in play that I don't understand or even know of, but it still makes me wonder.

Technology

Has this progress been prioritized? It sure seems like it, doesn't it?
AI, robots.. so many things that could have waited until a field like medicine was in place first. More in place than it is now.

Education

This is a field where governments around the world see a tremendous progress. I disagree. They teach kids from a very young age to be 90-100% in line. If you are not at least 90%, then you will be placed in another system where they try to get you to at least 90%.

They do not teach the importance of financial education, learning how to use money smart, make them work for you and so on.
This is, again, beyond my knowledge (mostly), but I am doing what I can to teach my daughter about Bitcoin and crypto in general.

Social achievements

Once again, something that is important. This field is somewhat taught in pre-school, elementary and high school, but the only thing they teach is how to "blend in". That is, to their defence, how most achievements in social circles are accomplished - but it doesn't teach them to be accepted as they are. And honestly, what is a greater achievement than being recognized and acknowledged as who you are?

Got a bit sidetracked there, was about to start writing about some of that..
Anyway, this was to give you an idea of what sort of progress could be posted in these Thursday posts.
It can be any sort of progress, really.
