Hola nuevamente mis colegas HiveBloggers espero que estén muy bien. Cómo sabrán ayer 22 de Mayo fue el Bitcoin Pizza Day y muchos entusiastas del ecosistema cripto fuimos a celebrar esta fecha importante para nosotros pero un poco triste para quien la impulsó.
Al menos triste para su billetera jeje. Les explico un poco. El 22 de Mayo del 2010 un creyente de Bitcoin como proyecto en general es decir desde la tecnología hasta dinero; ofreció una suma de 10.000 Bitcoins por 2 pizzas 🍕
Según la historia, este señor llamado Laszlo Hanyecz fue el primer usuario en comprar un producto con esta moneda digital y quién dio inicio a usarla para el día a día. Aunque suene muy bueno por un lado, fue un precio alto para ser el pionero.
En la actualidad con bitcoin sobre los 60k estamos hablando de 2 pizzas de un aproximado de 600.000.000 USD. ¡Vaya lujo!
Esta fecha se sigue celebrando para conmemorar la importancia de bitcoin y las criptomonedas en el mundo llevando el mensaje de la Libertad financiera, la seguridad monetaria y la transparencia en la economía.

Aquí estoy junto a mi gran amiga de web3 @mayvil en una foto estamos celebrando el btc pizza day del 2023 donde invitamos a otro colegas HiveBloggers. Y en la otra foto estabamos disfrutando de unas cervezas de tercio en chacao. ¡Qué buen día!
Aquí un recuerdito de lo que fue un cafecito de Bitcoin Café en la Caracas Blockchain Week del 2022.
Si aún no sabes qué es Bitcoin, hace 2 años escribí está pequeña guía de bitcoin espero te sirva para comprender un poco mejor y como adquirir tus primeros Bitcoins.
Bitcoin Pizza Day 2024
Como les comenté anteriormente este es un día de celebración por todo el significado más allá de las pizzas. Personalmente, este es uno de mis días favoritos del ecosistema especialmente porque junta 2 de mis cosas favoritas cultura de blockchain y también pizzas ¡¿A quién no le gusta la pizza?!

Resulta que participé en un concurso de la comunidad y salí ganador de 10 HBD que usé para mi pizza.

Con mis HBD ya acreditados (que la verdad no me esperé) me fui a ver con mi amiga antes mencionada. Acordamos por gran recomendación de May ir al Centro Comercial Sambil de La Candelaria.
Mientras ella estaba comprando unas cosas en la farmacia, yo me adelanté con mi chica y fuimos al sitio y a buscar una mesa cómoda para los 4. Terminamos yendo como ven al Pizza Mia, la cual esta desde 1988 abierta es decir con más de 40 años de trayectoria, con altibajos como toda empresa pero firmes.
La Pizza que pedimos para todos fue una XL o Gigante de 40cm X 40cm de pepperoni. El estilo de la pizza era "al taglio" es decir al corte, por lo que tenia forma cuadrada. La masa crujiente y muy sabrosa, con ligero toque de fermentación en paladar, buena salsa y el topping rebanado finamente para que quede tostado y muy buen queso también.
La acompañamos con soda de limón y luego con unos helados menos May porque no quería para que no le cayera pesado.
Después de un momento super agradable y de unas charlas amenas de la actualidad y muchas risas de cosas vividas finalmente nos fuimos cada quien a su casa.

Hello again my fellow HiveBloggers I hope you are doing well. As you may know yesterday May 22nd was the Bitcoin Pizza Day and many enthusiasts of the crypto ecosystem went to celebrate this important date for us but a bit sad for those who promoted it.
At least sad for your wallet hehe. Let me explain a little bit. On May 22nd 2010 a believer of Bitcoin as a project in general, from technology to money, offered a sum of 10.000 Bitcoins for 2 pizzas 🍕.
According to the story, this man named Laszlo Hanyecz was the first user to buy a product with this digital currency and who started using it on a daily basis. Although it sounds great on the one hand, it was a high price to pay for being a pioneer.
Nowadays, with bitcoin at over 60k we are talking about 2 pizzas worth approximately 600,000,000 USD. What a luxury!
This date is still celebrated to commemorate the importance of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the world carrying the message of financial freedom, monetary security and transparency in the economy.

Bitcoin Pizza Day 2024
As I mentioned before, this is a day of celebration for all the meaning beyond the pizzas. Personally, this is one of my favourite days in the ecosystem especially because it brings together 2 of my favourite things blockchain culture and also pizzas. Who doesn't like pizza?!
This 2024 was celebrated thanks to @aliento
I happened to enter a community contest and won 10 HBD's which I used for my pizza.

With my HBD already credited (which I really didn't expect) I went to see my aforementioned friend. We agreed on May's recommendation to go to the Sambil de La Candelaria shopping centre.
While she was buying some things at the pharmacy, I went ahead with my girl and we went to the place and looked for a comfortable table for the 4 of us. We ended up going to Pizza Mia, which has been open since 1988 with more than 40 years of experience, with ups and downs like any company, but steady.
The pizza we ordered for everyone was an XL or Giant 40cm X 40cm pepperoni pizza. The style of the pizza was ‘al taglio’, i.e. cut, so it was square in shape. The dough was crispy and very tasty, with a slight hint of fermentation on the palate, good sauce and topping sliced thinly so it was toasted and very good cheese too.
We accompanied it with lemon soda and then with some ice-cream, less May because she didn't want it so that it wouldn't be too heavy for her.
After a very nice time and some pleasant chats about current events and a lot of laughs about things we had experienced, we finally went home.
