Videos will resume tomorrow!

Some of you may be wondering where all the video making has gone? After all - I did get DHF funding for that god damn thing I was supposed to do, right?

Well, what happened right after I posted my last video with Starkerz, my audio-mixer went poof. It's the one I was already using -- along with my Audio Technica AT2020. Thankfully my mic is fine or that would have been a BIG expense.

Anyhoo, I bought myself an m-track solo, and after a bit of testing and fiddling with it seems to do the job just fine and dandy.

Here's me with my new purchase, yay.

Thankfully I kept my DHF funding for what it was intended for and this purchase was no problem at all. It came to about £40, which is around $60, so not much at all in the grand scheme of things when it comes to sound.

This came at the weekend, and I had planned to start at the weekend, but the wife has had me working and doing odd jobs around the house and playing with my kid who's now on a 7 week break from school.

But, tomorrow is a new day, and I've made sure I've got the whole next few days to myself so that I can't pump out these regularly and hopefully have a backlog of videos to boot. If I do it long enough then if I take a holiday away from the PC then I'll have worked up enough backlog that you wont notice I'm gone! The videos will keep coming.

I've also been thinking about how I'm going to attack the issue of hive too (and not just our projects) and I've came up with some pretty good ideas. I think what mostly matters in videos is the title, the thumbnail and the first 25 seconds. After that you have them hooked. I've been working hard on that as I've been soundless. So we might see results soon.

Time will tell eventually.
