Saints @ Jaguars Week 6

What a game this was! It was tagged as our Game of the Week, but this turned out to be the Game of the Year by all standards. The Saints took an early 7-0 lead, then the Jags scored to try to tie it up only to watch the

and take it home for 2 more points and a 9-6 lead.

After that it was all Jaguars, rolling off 16 straight points for a 23-9 lead midway into the 2nd Quarter before the Saints added a field goal to make it 23-12. But this game was all about Russell Wilson being clutch in the final seconds.

With under a minute to go in the first half,

deep in the corner of the endzone for a late TD to creep closer and cut the score to 26-19 at the half.

The 3rd Quarter was all defense, but the Saints came out on top adding a field goal to cut the lead to 4 points at 26-22.

In the 4th it was again a struggle for both teams on offense as the Jaguars could only manage to add field goals, while the Saints tacked on a TD to tie the score at 29-29. But late in the game, the Jaguars mounted a long drive that chewed up the clock and with only 1:08 left kicked the go ahead field goal to make it 32-29 in what seemed like the game winner.

But never count Russell Wilson out! With just one minute left on the clock, Wilson completes a 15 yard pass to get the Saints a little closer to being able to tie the game with a field goal at their own 39 yard line. But Wilson would have none of that, he's after the win in this one.

On the very next play, Wilson connects with

with only 36 seconds left on the clock as Hill breaks a tackle and takes it to the hizzie.
