Becoming Crypto Rover part 2 - A story inspired by an X post [ENG/GER]

Foreword

Inspired by a post on X/Twitter I started writing this story. It’s just too good to be left untold. The Guy calls himself „CryptoRover“ and from what I learned he is either dutch or english, living abroad these days. For what he says he had nothing, working at a local McDonald’s branch but made it a millionaire, thanks to crypto. Don’t really know if the story is true but from what I read on his X account it seems possible. Anyways, it’s great stuff to write about!

Becoming Crypto Rover - Part 2

Tom knew now, or rather began to suspect, that he had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He could achieve everything he had dreamed of and in much less time than he had ever hoped!
He began to work overtime. God, he hated that. But this allowed him to invest more in the steadily rising crypto market. His strategy paid off. Within a few months, values continued to rise and Toms' holdings in Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as exotic new projects, grew. By now his wallet had grown to 120,000 pounds and he was spending a lot of time monitoring the market and managing his positions. Tom began exchanging ideas with like-minded people. He found them on certain sites online. They were mainly young, hungry men like him. They all believed in the success of the new blockchain technology and hoped to make more of their lives with it.

Tom needed more time. Following the markets, researching and interacting with the crypto community took up more and more of his time. So he started working fewer hours at McDonald's and putting more time into his crypto passion. This worked financially, as he was able to make small profits when he needed some money. His wallet had now exceeded 300,000 pounds. His confidence and wealth grew with each passing day. By December, his initial capital had doubled again. It was madness. Bitcoin was rising faster and faster. Meanwhile, colleagues started talking about it and the topic was increasingly picked up by the media.

It was September 22nd when he was woken up by his cell phone alarm. Tom looked at the clock, it was 6.20 am. Bitcoin had just reached the price of 10,000 dollars. His crypto assets had thus exceeded the million mark during the night. It was unbelievable! He was now a millionaire at just 19 years old. And his job was still to fry burger patties.

Tom wusste jetzt, oder besser er begann zu ahnen, dass sich ihm eine einmalige Chance bot. Alles wovon er geträumt hatte konnte er erreichen und das in deutlich kürzerer Zeit als jemals erhofft!
Er begann Überstunden zu machen. Gott wie er das hasste. Aber so konnte er mehr in den stetig steigenden Kryptomarkt investieren. Seine Strategie zahlte sich aus. Innerhalb weniger Monate stiegen die Werte weiter und Toms‘ Beteiligungen an Bitcoin und Ethereum sowie exotischen neuen Projekten wuchsen. Mittlerweile war sein Wallet auf 120.000 Pfund gestiegen und er verbrachte viel Zeit damit den Markt zu beobachten und seine Positionen zu managen. Tom begann sich mit Gleichgesinnten auszutauschen. Er fand sie über bestimmte Seiten im Netz. Es waren hauptsächlich junge, hungrige Männer wie er. Sie alle glaubten an den Erfolg der neuen Blockchain Technologie und hofften damit mehr aus ihrem Leben machen zu können.

Tom brauchte mehr Zeit. Das Verfolgen der Märkte, seine Recherchen und der Austausch mit der Krypto Community nahmen ihn immer stärker in Beschlag. So fing er an, weniger Stunden bei McDonald's zu arbeiten und mehr Zeit in seine Krypto Leidenschaft u stecken. Finanziell ging das, denn er konnte kleine Gewinne realisieren wenn er etwas Geld brauchte. Sein Wallet hatte mittlerweile die 300.000 Pfund überschritten. Mit jedem Tag wuchsen sein Selbstvertrauen und sein Vermögen. Bis Dezember hatte sich sein Anfangskapital nochmal verdoppelt. Es war der Wahnsinn. Der Bitcoin stieg immer schneller. Mittlerweile fingen Kollegen an darüber zu sprechen, das Thema wurde von den Medien zunehmend aufgegriffen.

Es war der 22. September als er morgens von seinem Handyalarm geweckt wurde. Tom sah auf die Uhr, es war gerade mal 6.20 Uhr. Bitcoin hatte gerade den Preis von 10.000 Dollar erreicht. Sein Kryptovermögen hatte damit in der Nacht die Millionengrenze überschritten. Es war unglaublich! Er war jetzt Millionär mit gerade einmal 19 Jahren. Und sein Job war es immer noch Burger Patties zu braten.
