A VERY QUICK LOOK AT MY HOMETOWN

Yes, it's just a quick scenic look that doesn't require a long post. I'm writing this thing from one of the most fascinating places in the known universe, the onchain Lasseland, a small, flat corner of the mostly round Earth, a place of limitless freedom and very weird physics.
This is my hometown. Yep, right there in the above photograph, in the opening picture of the post. You can see red rooftops, the iconic church, a palm or two near the center of the shot ... and so on. The white dots near the lower edge of the frame are seagulls floating in the shallow water of the bay. In the following photograph ...
... you can see a friend of mine watching the scene you just saw in the opening picture. The shot gives a feel of a "behind the scene" look at the whole situation.
It was all fabricated, however. The two photographs aren't really connected, nor did I take them with this conjecture in mind.
I just took two casual shots this morning on my walk by the sea. Only later, at home, after seeing them on the computer screen, did I realize the potential for an extremely short piece of visual storytelling.
A few minutes ago, I also created this GIF that combines the two pictures into a short animated experience caught in a never-ending loop.
AND THAT'S IT. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST. AS ALWAYS HERE ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK - THE END.
