How I Switched From The Main Purpose.

When I first heard about the pandemic, I never knew it could be so serious here in Nigeria until the government declared a general lockdown. I felt so sad because I wouldn’t be able to see my friends and boyfriend during the pandemic.
After one week of sitting at home and doing nothing, I started thinking of what I could do with my life and I was able to figure it out. So many of my friends made use of the period to learn things we can engage in to make money online and since they brought that idea, I saw it as a reasonable idea.
After I had racked my brain for days thinking of what I could engage in, I finally resulted into learning how to trade cryptocurrency. I have a friend named Tunde. I’ve known him for a while now and he’s a very good crypto trader.

Tunde is someone who is very much addicted to crypto and its news that he can’t go a day without trading. Since the idea of trading cryptocurrency occured to me, I thought of Tunde. That afternoon, while checking people’s WhatsApp statuses, I saw Tunde’s status and how much profit he had made on that day. This even inspired me more and more to be a trader.
Instead of texting him, I knew calling will be faster so I picked up my phone and called him.

Hey Tunde, what’s up?, I said to him and acted like I didn’t need his help at first.

I’m good mama. It’s been a while, he responded to me.

Please, I’d be needing your help about the crypto trading we spoke about sometime ago, truly, we already spoke about crypto trading before but I wasn’t really serious about it until the pandemic forced me to do something reasonable with my life.

That’s not a problem and if you’re thinking about paying me for the classes, don’t bother, Tunde said back to me and I was very happy because I didn’t have the money to pay him for the classes because cryptocurrency trading classes are usually expensive.

We began the class after three days because he needed to create time for me. At first, I thought I was going to be making profit everyday and also thought Tunde makes profit everyday as well but I was wrong. Tunde continued to hold my hand everyday making sure that I was able to read charts. That was how I started getting addicted to cryptocurrency trading.
When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I did was check the chart and start a trade even though I had no idea about what I was doing. All I wanted to do was make sure that I was learning something everyday.

There were days when Tunde may be too busy for me and I will still make sure that I trade. It wasn’t an easy process and I kept on losing much money daily but I was gradually improving and it got to a point when my account started to grow until something happened.

There is a particular TV reality show that is very popular in Nigeria and comes up around the middle of the year. They repeat this same show every year but with different people and it lasts for twelve months. I’ve actually seen some people abandon all what they were doing just to focus on the show. You can watch it in the midnight, morning or anytime because it never stops.
When the show started, I was still keennon trading cryptocurrency everyday and focusing more on my cryptocurrency activities.

Unfortunately, I went away with the fairies. I could no longer focus on my cryptocurrency trading even though I boasted so much about me focusing on it throughout the pandemic but I got distracted by the most interesting show that happens once in a year in Nigeria.
Tunde noticed that I was losing interest in it and called me countless times but I kept on giving him stories like, I’ve not been feeling too wel, I’ve got life issues I’m dealing with and so much more but they were all lies. I just wanted to keep watching the TV reality show.

That made me miss the opportunity of being a better cryptocurrency trader because I never had the time and opportunity to learn from someone again and if I’m to learn from someone now, I’d have to pay for it now. I’m sad that I went away with the fairies but it’s never too late to be a better trader.
