I have already written to you about how happy I was when, about ten days ago, the snow started falling heavily and covering everything with a soft white blanket. I won't repeat that, I will just add that when snow falls, I - who usually feel like a sixteen-year-old child, suddenly feel like I'm eight! I run outside without a cap, without gloves, stepping deep into the snow, running around fast to leave as many footprints as possible across the wide, open yard. I make snowballs with my bare hands, again and again and again, until my fingers turn red like poppies in spring.

A few of these photos were taken a day or two later, maybe on the third day, when the sun came out to show its beauty. You will recognize them easily > the sky was bluer, the snow looked bluer too and icicles instantly started forming, like the most beautiful stalagmites and stalactites in caves. Don't blame me, I never remember which one is which, hihi.
I took all the photos with a Samsung A56 mobile phone, or as I, a "true expert in modern technology", would call it a Samsung "S56". xD Try checking my computer, maybe you will even find GTA 6 there, I would not be surprised. 😁

We are now in my hometown for a week and here the snow fell only a little, melted quickly and then froze solid and has stayed like that for days. And the difference is only about 200 kilometers. The thing is, here we have a wonderful river, often dirty because of careless people, but still the most beautiful river in the world, the Južna Morava ❤️. The river probably carries the snowfall away, if that even makes sense, somehow melting it and softening the winter. On top of that, there are hills on both sides of the river, so there are no strong winds or big snowdrifts. I think that's the logic... I guess. xD

I have so many snowy photos on my phone that I honestly do not know how to sort them. Have enough for at least two more truly content rich blog posts. For one of them, I saved only the droplets I photographed in the forest one day, and for the other, photos of a whole flock of sparrows that invaded the pear tree the moment when sun showed its first rays.

Oh yes, I lied, there is actually enough for one more. One where I photographed only the treetops from below, sort of a frog's eye view and they look as if it is the middle of spring, in full bloom. You will see soon, I will not bore you with it now. Enjoy the rest of this gallery and if you like snow and there is none where you are, just say it and I will send some right away!. I will pay the postage, hihi, all you have to do is accept it from the courier and scatter it around your area so it takes root there too and next year it will fall properly, right on schedule.
Would that not be wonderful? 😍
