This is weird... my very first deworming treatment! And technically, it isn't even for me!

Anyway, our little one has been complaining of stomach pains and not really eating... and generally, we have put that down to her being a poo-butt most of the time. But what started to get us a little bit concerned was that she was sometimes looking a weird colour as well... and that is significantly harder to call up on demand than just being whiny. So, we started to suspect that there was a mix of things going on...

... and so, we had her go to the GP to get a few blood tests... just to rule out anything crazily serious. And we recently got the results back... nothing abnormal or anything to be concerned about... everything in range and with no problem.

But there was one little flag... and the GP said that it can be caused by the presence of worms! Okay... so, she wanted us to do a treatment of deworming... just to target the lowest hanging fruit, before anything else was investigated. Again... nothing critical, but that might explain a few things if it was worms.

And she suggested that the whole family just do the treatment at the same time... just to be sure. So, here we are... one chocolate square for each of us!

... and to be honest, it was hands down the tastiest treatment I've ever had... and the girls also thought so as well! It was actually real chocolate...

... and in the coming days, we will see if there is much of an effect at all! It was really weird to read how it works... apparently, the active ingredient paralyses the worms so that they get passed out when you poop! Funny... and gross!

I wonder if this also explains how my wife and I have been tired... or if that is just working hard and being parents...
