Continuing with sewing projects using leftover fabric, today I'm sharing how to make a men's sleeveless flannel shirt with a Nike print. The back features a strip of TikTok print fabric to complete the length of the garment. Definitely nothing goes to waste! The front of the flannel has Nike print fabric, and I made three seams that aren't very noticeable because they have the same print. The back has a TikTok fabric strip approximately 20 centimeters long. The collar and cuffs are blue, and I used blue rib knit fabric for them.
Sewing with fabric scraps is an excellent way to make the most of them while creating beautiful and unique designs. Although it takes a little more time to join the fabrics, the result is worth the effort, and we get the most use out of the fabric. This also saves money on fabric purchases. Before cutting the patterns, I measured the scraps, then sewed them together with right sides facing and using a straight stitch. When joining them, it's important to make sure the stretch is along the grain of the fabric. Even if the lines of the print look slightly different, the key is that the fabric grain lines up so the flannel can stretch sideways without any problem. After joining the scraps and verifying that they matched the measurements, I had enough fabric to cut the pieces for this simple and comfortable flannel shirt. Hola, hola amigos artesanos y comunidad @hivediy, es un placer saludarles, deseo que tengan una excelente y bendecida semana, continuando con los proyectos de costuras aprovechando los sobrantes de tela, hoy le comparto la elaboración de una franela manga cero para caballero, con estampado de Nike y en la parte trasera lleva una franja de tela con estampado de TikTok, para completar el largo de la pieza; definitivamente nada se desperdicia, en la parte delantera la franela lleva tela con estampádo de Nike, hice tres uniones las cuales no se notan mucho debido a que tiene el mismo estampado, en la parte trasera lleva una franja de tela TikTok de aproximadamente 20 centímetros de largo, el cuello y los puños son de color azul, para ellos utilicé tela rib de color azul.
Coser con sobrantes de tela es una excelente opción para aprovecharlos al máximo y al mismo tiempo crear lindos y únicos diseños, aunque toma un poco más de tiempo para unir las telas el resultado vale el esfuerzo y le damos la mayor utilidad posible a las telas, esto también constituye un ahorro en la compra de telas; antes de cortar los patrones tomé las medidas de los retazos luego los uní enfrentándolos por el derecho y utilizando puntada recta, al momento de unirlos es importante verificar que la elongación quede hacia el hilo de la tela, aunque las líneas del estampado se vean un poco diferente, lo fundamental es que los hilos de la tela coincidan, para que la franela pueda estirar hacia los lados sin ningún problema, luego de unir los retazos y verificar que coincidieran con las medidas, ya tenía la cantidad de tela necesaria para cortar las piezas de esta sencilla y cómoda franelilla, les invito me acompañen en el proceso de elaboración,

After joining the fabric scraps, I marked and cut the front and back pieces, I also cut three rectangles in ribbed fabric to make the collar and cuffs.

Once the pieces were cut, I placed them right sides together, pinned them at the top, and closed the shoulders with a straight stitch.
With the shoulders closed, I pinned and sewed the sides, using a straight stitch. At this stage, I like to use a double stitch for reinforcement, as it stretches when putting on or taking off the flannel. Then I trimmed the excess fabric.

With the shoulders and sides closed, the next step was to make the collar and cuffs. I placed the rectangles right sides together, joined them at the ends with a straight stitch, then turned them over, leaving the seam on the inside, folded them over, and ran a zigzag stitch along the edges.
Cerrados los hombros y costados, el siguiente paso fue hacer el cuello y los puños, enfrenté los rectángulos por el derecho, uní en los extremos con puntada recta, luego volteé dejando la costura hacia adentro, doblé y pasé puntada de zigzag por los bordes.
To attach the collar and cuffs, I divided them into four sections and pinned them to the collar and sleeves. I sewed them by stretching the fabric from one point to the other using a straight stitch, then I sewed a zigzag stitch around the entire edge.
Para pegar el cuello y los puños los dividí en cuatro partes y los fijé con alfileres, al cuello y mangas; cosí estirando desde un punto al otro usando puntada recta, luego pasé puntada de zigzag por todo el contorno.
The last step was to sew a hem approximately two centimeters wide at the bottom, for which I used a straight stitch; with these simple steps a beautiful and cool flannel shirt made from leftover fabric is finished.
El último paso, fue coser un dobladillo de aproximadamente dos centímetros de ancho el ruedo, para ello utilicé puntada recta; con estos sencillos pasos está terminada una hermosa y fresca franelilla con sobrantes de tela.
