And so it begins

I've been looking forward to this week for many weeks. Only because this week heralds next week where I take a break for one week.
At the end of this week or perhaps the start of next week, I'll also have my birthday. I'll be turning 32 and I just can't help but wonder where all the time has gone.
Anyway, this week, I'll only work for three out of five days. Unfortunately, today is one of the days I'll be working but boy am I glad I won't be travelling to Leicester this week.
I cheekily booked Tuesday off for this week and of course, next week. I'll be looking to do the same with the few days of my holiday left.
Anyway, I hope today's going to be a good day but I fear it might not because I'm on one of the later shifts. So, I close from work around 6:30pm. This effectively means that you spend your entire day at work because prior to starting your shift, you spend the day mentally preparing for it and then straight to work. After work, you're already too beat to do anything else.
Luckily for me, I won't be going to the office this week, so that's something to be happy about. I'll get on the phones in a moment, make the most of the day and well, count down to the weekend.
