Welcome to another mobile game review. This time we are taking a look at LaTale M. An epic side scrolling rpg mobile game that is sure to bring nostalgia to those that played the orignal game on PC. If you played the original LaTale MMORPG and have fond memories of it, LaTale M allows you to relive the game's world and mechanics on your mobile device.

Have a quick look at the gameplay here:
One of the game modes is called Monster Tower which you can watch from this clip. Typical to RPGs of this kind, you start at lower floors and there's a boss every 5 levels.
Classic for Casuals
The mobile version of LaTale offers a more casual and on-the-go gaming experience. You can play in short bursts or longer sessions, depending on your schedule. Now don't get me wrong, this game could still cater to hardcore gamers offering tons of play time and numerous quests as well as a decent story.
Here's the character creation screen. LaTale M offers a wide range of character customization options, allowing you to create a unique character with various outfits and accessories. Yeah, your avatar changes apperance according to the items you equipped. I selected to go for the Explorer class who can deal burst damage and has lots of AOE skills. A certainly fun to play class. We are also going for that super saiyan look.
The Social Network
MMORPGs are known for their social aspects, and LaTale M allows you to connect with other players, join guilds, and participate in various in-game events and activities. Or challenge them into PVP if you're the unfriendly type. Lol.
There's a healthy player base in this game. And you can see players still grinding it out even on the lower level maps. Party up if you want to kill mobs faster.
Story Telling
LaTale M has an engaging storyline and numerous quests to complete, providing a sense of progression and achievement. There's an auto navigation mode which helps you complete quests faster thru auto navigation and there would be times you're character would also teleport to towns making questing less of a drag.
Me starting off on some main story quests.
Not just Hack and Slash
The game features various mini-games and activities to break up the usual gameplay and offer different challenges. Other activities include gathering, mining and even fishing.
You can see on top of the screen so many icons which means that there's so much you can do in this game. And to no ones surprise, yes there are in game app purchases, which allows players to proress faster.
Boss Fights
LaTale M features a variety of bosses, each with its own unique mechanics and abilities. Some of these bosses are large, imposing creatures, while others may be more humanoid in nature.
Me trying to defeat this Necro Envoy. This guy had such a huge health bar.
Certified Eye Candy
Needless to say this game has cute and colorful graphics. It features a charming, anime-style art design with colorful visuals, making it visually appealing for many players.
There's also less need to grind it out. You can see that even at my current levels, I have a multitude of skills to use. You would even gain more as you level up and advance classes.
Events
The game often hosts special in-game events with unique rewards, encouraging players to participate and offering a chance to obtain exclusive items. I won't be surprised if there are cross over events with your favorite animes.
Me trying to defeat another boss showering him with an endless barrage of arrows. Defeating bosses is often part of your character's progression in the game. You may need to defeat specific bosses to unlock new content, advance the storyline, or gain access to higher-level dungeons.
Pet system
All RPGs should have a pet system. Full stop.
Shown here is the Priring, a beginner pet you get from quests. You can expect better pets to come your way as you progress in the game.
LaTale M is a game worth playing for its beauty beyond its simplicity. Boss fights, party grind, guild raids, pvp. It has all the essentials that make a good game great. And while the graphics may not be up there. You are still treated to a vibrant and colorful display and eye catching environments.
