Weekend fetish date - In bed and other places

I have a fetish and this weekend I'll be fully engaged in it.

The fetish begins in my bedroom and extends to my loungeroom; my couch being one of the places I engage in my fetish activities. It even happens on the balcony on the sunbed I have there. I don't seem able to reign in the fetish, it holds me captive, I simply don't possess the will power to deny it.

That's my bed in the image, a place so few will ever see in real life, and I believe it's clear what my fetish is. Cushions.

Fetish. Maybe that's not the right word.

Hobby? Illness? I'm not sure. What is certain is that I never seem to have enough cushions around me. Would you believe that those you see on the bed are not all I have? I took the photo this morning as I was tidying up and several of the cushions hadn't quite made it back to their daily resting place. Three to be exact. Ok, four. Would you believe five? OK, ok I'll be honest, I have six more that usually live on the bed. There. That's it. Probably.

I have favourites, that shaggy pink one in the photo for one, and my hugging pillow as well, not pictured. It has never let me down, is there when I cry, keeps me comfort when I read in bed and holds me close at night when I sleep.

I'm always on the scout for new cushions, it comes with the fetish. Hobby. Habit, or whatever it is I have. I love how they transform a room with colour, texture and shape, and they show character also I suppose; that, and style. I have a neutral décor in my home with light tones on walls and soft furnishings and the little pop cushions bring with their various shapes, colours and textures mean I can transform the feel of the room with little expense.

I'll admit it can be annoying having to move them off the bed all the time, to move them when cleaning then replace them, which would probably make most men roll their eyes in exasperation and wonder why I bother to have all those cushions around I guess. But when I get them all set in place...they make me feel good and so I keep them.

Hmm, what I mean by I keep them is I keep adding to them, I suppose.

In a couple days, on the weekend, I have a date and am really looking forward to it.

The date will allow me to revel in my fetish because I'm heading to IKEA to look at cushions with a friend; I'll feel them too, it's all about the feel after all. I can't remember looking forward to a weekend and date so much for a long time. We'll have coffee there, discuss our cushion purchases and go home happy. The perfect date.

Do you have a similar cushion fetish? Hmm, I suppose that's for the ladies to answer as men tend to hate cushions. If you do please tell me about it, if you happen to have read this post that is. Maybe if you're a man you could tell me how much you hate an over abundance of cushions and why? I'll not feel any pity for you of course, my fetish precludes that, but tell me anyway. 🙃

If there is an image in this post I took it myself or someone took it of me, for me
