A Little Piece of Sunshine ☀️ | LMAC Freestyle

Hi everyone!

November has just begun, and I think I'd like to spend this month using a little more yellow in my artwork. I'm not entirely sure why, but lately, I've been enjoying this color. It's bright, warm, and somehow reminds me of the morning sunshine. Yellow is often associated with happiness, warmth, and hope. I like that idea. Maybe because sometimes we all need a little light in our lives.

This collage is my first artwork of November. But there's actually a rather personal reason behind it.

I made this piece as a little reminder of

Koi
, my cat who went missing about a month ago. I used an image of another cat to represent him rather than an actual photo of Koi. I simply wanted to include a black cat in this collage as a small way of expressing how much I miss him. Even now, I still have no idea where Koi might be. I don't know if he's somewhere comfortable, if someone is feeding him, or if one day he'll simply come home as if nothing ever happened.

I just hope he's doing okay. Honestly, I miss him a lot.

While working on this collage, I deliberately used lots of yellow and golden tones. The glowing circle behind his head makes Koi look like the main character in a story, or perhaps a little nobleman attending some important occasion. Of course, with that classic expression cats always seem to have, as if they couldn't care less about what's going on around them.

I like imagining Koi in a setting like this, surrounded by light, flowers, and something that feels warm.

Maybe the yellow in this collage is my way of keeping a little hope for him. I don't know where Koi is right now, but I hope he's somewhere safe, getting enough food, and surrounded by kindness. For now, all I can do is keep his memory alive through this little piece of art.

I hope that someday I'll get to see him again. And if that really happens, I hope he'll still recognize me. I hope he's doing okay.
