My work

May I present some of my work here. I work here at Lake Atitlan, among other things, as a hiking guide for the Hostel del Lago in San Marcos and take guests to the most beautiful places around San Marcos and explain a lot to people about the geology and fauna of the lake. I love working with people and telling them more about the lake San Marcos La Laguna, on the shores of Lake Atitlán, has a rich history. Historically, the region was part of the pre-Columbian Maya Empire. After the Spanish arrived in the 16th century, the area was colonized by them. In recent history, San Marcos has gained a reputation as a spiritual center, attracted by its natural beauty and tranquility. In recent decades, alternative lifestyles, yoga, meditation and ecological initiatives have become popular in the community. The site has become a retreat for people seeking spiritual growth and healing. It is important to note that the local history and culture are complex, and there are many facets that have shaped this community.
