Karachi's Largest Clothing Marketplace with Affordable Prices and Diverse Textiles (BASERA MARKET)

Basera market is one of the largest markets in Karachi, and it is most known for its clothing. Although you can find anything you need, the majority of the things are linens and clothing. You will find a wide range of textiles of varying price and quality. What kind of cloth you require and the quality you desire are determined by your available funds and you can easily choice the best one.
A HUB FOR AFFORDABLE CLOTHING AND MORE!
This market was created specifically for clothing, but as time passed, it expanded and additional shops for various things were available. Businessman understand the need of the customers along with cloths which one of the shops are flower decorations which is a match with cloths. This market is enormous, and it takes around an hour to explore and slowly walk by each shop. The market is located in the back of Gulshan Iqbal, close to the Sheraton.
I was in Karachi with my family to visit this Basera shopping mall because we had heard about this market that specialises in clothing. Because we were in need of garments and other Dupatha, we decided to go to Basera market, which is the ideal place for us to buy cloth products in reasonable price.
Also, the prices of things in this market are significantly lower than in other marketplaces because they always offer special discounts on their items. Sometimes they will give 50% off, which is the ideal way for the customer to get that price. I have compared the prices at this market to other markets, and there is a distinct difference in the prices.
I am a resident of Quetta, which is approximately 700 kilometres from Karachi. The markets in Quetta differ greatly from those in Karachi, as do the prices. The pricing of goods in Quetta differ by about 10% to 20% from those in Karachi. stuff in Quetta are significantly more expensive, but the identical stuff in Karachi marketplaces are lot cheaper.
During my journey to Karachi, I believed it would be the perfect opportunity to purchase for clothes at the Basera market. That is why now I understand businessmen from my city come to the markets in Karachi to buy goods because they receive superior quality at a low price and sell them in good profit. As a result, we chose to purchase clothes and other household items at Basera market.
A MEMORABLE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!
In the photos, you can see many fabric shops and artificial flower shops that we visited and purchased stuff from. We were in the market for nearly 2 hours before we finished our shopping. My family buys 4 to 5 pieces of clothes, and my aunt and grandmother also buy multiple pieces of clothing at a low cost and of high quality.
If I figure it roughly, each suite costs us between 2500 and 3000 PKR, and the overall shopping costs us between 35K PKR which is according to US dollar $110 to $120. This is a very large sum for Pakistanis because it represents one employee's salary in Pakistan. An average officer employee earns the same salary of PKR35,000.
Aside from shopping for clothes, we decided to look into the cost of artificial flowers. We also went to various shops, but we didn't like any of the decorations, and because we were travellers and had a few more days in the city, we decided to save some money for the remaining days. This will be hard for the traveler to finish the money and you also have remaining days in that city.
In the photos, you can also see my two young daughters having a good time at the Friday market. My younger daughter is too naughty, and she keeps roaming around the market streets, and I was following her to make sure I didn't lose her or she didn't harm herself. My family and I had a great day touring the Basera market shops and restaurants.
This is my attempt to provide you with the best photographs possible from the Friday Basera Markets organised by @dswigle. I hope you like the photographs and the story as much as I did.
