A tour of the Imperial Forums in Rome

Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing photographs from the trip I took yesterday afternoon to Rome, I am lucky enough to live not very far from this city of art. So I took a nice walk towards sunset to the Imperial Forums where I was able to admire some wonderful sights of the eternal city.

Along one of the 2000-year-old streets we can see some of the monuments of the world's most famous Romans.

The Colosseum, whose real name is the Flavian Amphitheater (named after the emperor who built it).

The Arch of Constantine, stupendous celebratory architecture erected to celebrate the victory of Emperor Constantine, this monument is the sum of many sculptural techniques of the time, which the Romans learned from Greek artists.

Unmissable are the endless padlocks that loving couples apply on every part of the fences and beyond as promises of eternal love.

In the sacred street stands the great Trajan Column, a marble column carved with hundreds of scenes of war and peace, celebrating Emperor Trajan's victory in Dacia (present-day Romania).

Finally, we can say that Roman sunsets over the marvelous architecture and monuments are among the most fascinating in Italy.

Art greetings to all, Armando.
