Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! Explosive Weaponry!

Hi everyone! It's time for the weekly Battle Mage Secrets challenge and the challenge this week is the Explosive Weaponry Ruleset.
About the Ruleset
Explosive WeaponryThe Explosive Weaponry ruleset states that "All Monsters have the Blast ability". This means that monsters adjacent to the one taking damage will take some damage too. Monsters with Reflection Shield will not take damage if placed beside the one taking damage.

Details of my battle with this ruleset is as follows.
Wands Out: Only Monsters with Magic attack can be used in battles

Summoner: Kelya Frendul - This increases the Speed and Shield of my deck by 1.

Strategy
The ruleset here meant that (1) Adjacent monsters to the monster being hit will take damage, (2) Only magic attack monsters can be used.
As this battle allows for only the Water and Dragon Splinter, I opted to use Kelya Frendul as it gives me a speed boost. The additional shield isn't particularly useful in this ruleset though. I opted to place Djinn Oshannus as the main tank, as it may be able dodge some attacks, which also means that the adjacent monster will avoid some damage. I used Anasth Soothsayer in position 2 to heal the tank and remove any debuffs the opponent may cast on it. I then used Spirit Hoarder in position 3, to heal Anasth Soothsayer from the splash damage from the Explosive Weaponry ruleset.
The opponent opted to use Quix the Devious as his summoner, which offset the speed boost from Kelya. Luckily, his selection of monsters in position 2 to 4 had low health and I was able to pick off though one by one with the blast damage.
Thoughts on the Explosive Weaponry Ruleset
The Weaponry ruleset is a fun but challenging ruleset. You can add a little randomness to maximise the splash damage by using monsters with the Scattershot ability. You can also use monsters with the Reflection Shield ability to minimise the splash damage. Or this case, I used the Triage ability to heal the damage taken from the splash damage.
On a side note, I'm wondering why there's a sudden influx of Gold tiered and above players who are playing in the Bronze and Silver tier. It's making my matches a bit of a struggle.
