“Travel is still the most intense mode of learning” – Kevin Kelly
Traveling into different places would help us learn how each place and thing works. It will help us to explore the place that never existed from our home. Exploring different features and amenities in this structure would help us learn how to handle and to use the things properly.
This Condominium is located at General Maxilom Avenue, Cebu City. It has 2 towers. The Tower 1 has 55 floors, on the other hand, Tower 2 has 46 floors which was obviously named 101 because of their combined floors. Isn't it unique right?
So come with me and let's look what are inside in this tallest structure in Cebu City...
Waiting Game
Before I went here, I booked it first the day before through booking.com. I waited for minutes and the booking was confirmed. I booked here since I planned to have my medical that time for school purposes.
So when I arrived here, I immediately called the owner and she just said to wait, because it was not yet 2pm which is mostly the check-in time of any same structures like this. I waited for like 30 minutes and it was too crowded and hot in the lobby which was the thing that I didn't like.
Another Waiting Moment
So the owner arrived at exactly 5 mins before 2pm. So I waited here for long, because for as long as I know, the unit was located at Tower 1 which it has 55 floors and it would always have a stopover, and also there are just 2 elevators that functioned well at that time, so I don't really have a choice but to wait patiently. To sum it up, this was just another thing that I don't like about this condominium, because of its long queue.
To the 45th
Finally, I was already in the elevator that time and it was so scary, because the floor that I booked was in 45th floor and also I was not used to ride an elevator, but it was a nice ride though.
The Arrival
This was my room and it was so big. It was quite cheaper compared to other condominiums here in Cebu. I was not alone while entering this room, since I was accompanied by the owner and she asked for my payment which costs ₱2800 or $50 for two days, and she immediately entrusted the keys and the elevator key card, giving me some instructions, and then she left.
Upon seeing the place, I also felt like I needed to rest here 24/7 when in fact I needed to go to my medical appointment at that time, so maybe I'll have that beauty rest in my next life. On the other hand, the frames were just so nice and could able to complete the perfect look of the room. Overall, it was indeed a minimalistic room.
Mandatory Mirror Selfie
Everytime I saw a mirror, I always do take a picture, so please bare with me hehe. So, this mirror can be found in the comfort room. It has a big mirror and a good shower with a heater. It was like a place that I needed since it was very cold, because of the aircon. I can say that, it was really a great stay.
City View
This is located at 45th floor where my room was also located. I will always find this place scary, because how high the place was, and I also have a phobia of heights, but it was a perfect view though. So I didn't hesitate to ask some people to take a picture with me with the city view as its background and I guess it turned out well.
Some Insights
It was definitely a great stay here last weekend despite of its small inconviences. I did have a comfort stay for two days here in Horizons 101 Condominium. I learned so much while staying here for two days. It made me an ignorant person, since I don't know how to use its features especially the elevator key card, but I learned so much from it.
So, I definitely agree that there are more learnings when we get to explore some places we didn't use to visit or a thing that never existed in our place. So, I really want to explore more places, so that I can learn more. Thank you for getting here and see you on the next one. Have a blessed day! <3
XO, Maxine.
