I continue to learn to draw and use the book by Arthur Gaptill “Rendering in Pen and Ink”.

We got to chapter 14 and we will talk about trees, bushes, flower beds and similar plants. The most important thing to remember is that each plant has its own leaves! And the result will depend on what kind of stroke we choose. For conifers, a sharp shading is well suited, for birch leaves - round curlicues ... How to determine what to choose? Watch! Pay attention to details!

Also do not forget about the light and shade. The lightest part of the sheets can be white 👌. And be sure to go out - it is better than any photo.

We have before us chapter 15 of the book and in it the author talks about the elements of buildings and structures. When we draw parts of buildings we pay a lot of attention to the textures of materials, because our look is directed at the details. The smaller our point of attention is, the more detailed and textured is the appearance of the object.

In this lesson you need to choose the time not only for different textures, but also for individual elements of the building: windows, roofs, pipes, parts of walls, doors and decorative elements. Think about which of these elements you come across more often than others, and which you have seen only in photographs. Draw any of them 👌.

P.S. It is hard to write in English, because my native language is Russian. But I'm learning. If you notice serious errors in the text that interfere with the correct perception, please let me know about them.
