Greetings!

I usually don't post anything about Gods Unchained other than my "weekly edition" of the "Daily Grind" series of blogs which is currently on its "62nd edition" but yesterday I was compelled to share something that I think can help those that are Nature users especially those that are grinding for gods to buy the cards they wanted.

Here's why I am compelled to make this blog. About less than a week before the "Tides of Fate" went live I came across an "Aggro Nature" deck that is being used in "Mythic". The deck has a "more than 50% win rate" on 250+ matches. The deck's creator is "Blueboy". Impressed on the deck I copied it and I started using it (when Selena's Mark is still around).

If I am not mistaken I used the deck for 3-4 days and boy it is a very good deck. In that span of 3-4 days, I can win 6-7 matches with it and effectively make a jump and down between Midnight Shadow and Auric Gold. But then Selena's Mark was removed and it struggled to rank up to Auric Gold. So, effectively, I stopped using it but I kept it in my collection of decks for I knew that the meta is quickly shifting and it may have a use in the coming weeks.

If you are going to ask me why I was not able to rank it up to Mythic probably because I am not that very skilled of a gamer compared to the creator of the deck. After I stopped using it I returned to my own deck.

5-0 win-loss in Midnight Shadow, 4-1 win-loss in Auric Gold

Fast forward to today, or yesterday I should say, my deck is making me hopeless so I return to using the deck created by "Blueboy". And boy it did very well again, it won 5-0 in Midnight Shadow and 4-1 in Auric Gold. I only lost to a Zoo Light deck in Auric Gold

Anubian Death

It first took down an Anubian Death deck with a win rate of 44.4% but looking at the composition of the deck it is a solid deck maybe I am just a little bit skilled than the one using the deck.

Midrange Nature

This is probably one of the easiest opponents that it took down (based on the deck's composition). I saw this deck take some wins against my other deck if my drawing of the card was awful.

Zoo War

This is a solid deck it can win any matches in Midnight Shadow and Auric Gold. The deck that I am using went toe-to-toe against this Zoo War but when Sudden Bloom + Flourish kicks in it is GG.

Wild Nature

This is another solid deck, it can also win any matches in Midnight Shadow and Auric Gold but against the deck I am using it can't keep up simply because it has a lot of single cards.

Anubian Death

This is another solid Anubian Death deck. This Anubian Death deck prides itself on clearing its opponent's board and simultaneously chipping away HP using Priestess of Takhat, Raving Necromancer but you can keep your creature alive with Flourish thus making it unable to clear your board.

Decks it able to beat in Auric Gold

Food Chain Nature

I don't have lots of information about Food Chain decks as I was not able to battle them a lot but considering that this deck is at Auric Gold this deck is no slouch thus looking at its win rate is kind of deceiving.

Anubian Death

This is by far the most solid Anubian Death deck that it able to beat. Composition-wise and win rate this is no doubt a solid deck and it is in currently Auric Gold.

Aggro Nature

I think this is a hybrid Food Chain Aggro deck as that is solid with a decent win rate and is currently in Auric Gold.

Control Deception

This is a solid Control Deception deck that can win any matches in Auric Gold. Once Hortuk, Ember Oni, and Witherfingers strut their wares this deck is difficult to deal with.

Why I am saying/showing all this stuff?

For free users like me, specifically Nature deck users, Nature can keep up with the meta that is dominated by War, Magic, and Death as proven before by the user "Blueboy" in the Mythic rank (a testament to his skill). And now that the meta is normalizing without the crazy matches days after Tides of Fate went live the deck that "Blueboy" has created has been significant once again thus giving me hope.

I would argue that if "Blueboy" once again uses the deck I think it can go all the way to Ethereal Diamond.

Just today, December 22, 2023, at 12:58 PST I happened to outlast a Magic deck that uses Divine Coronet, Pyrrhic Knowledge, Pyramid Warden, Unbound Flames, and Shaped Blast. A testament that this deck by "Blueboy" can win in Auric Gold against a solid Magic deck. Check the deck below...
