Sunshine and Grey Coats: Sunday September 1 2024

The summer keeps going, but the days are quickly shortening. I almost didn't make it in time for the sunset tonight after dinner. I barely made it to catch the afterglow before dusk settled.

In the afternoon I had some iced coffee with Hazel and then I swam in the lake before dinner.

In the morning I met my feathered friend Ronald. He seemed a bit confused that I didn't give him more than two peanuts, but I am slightly concerned his white feathers are from malnutrition, which in turn might come from him being satiated by peanuts every other day, thus lacking natural variety in his overall diet?!? Can't bring him hard boiled eggs or salmon scraps every day, though.
