"You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems." - James Clear

Today I am going to write a book review of Atomic Habits. It is written by James Clear, and it is one of the most remarkable write-ups I have read in recent times.

You see, we often read fiction and non-fiction about politics, history, and different stories, but we rarely read self-help books. Atomic Habits is one of the reads which has had a very important effect, and significant changes are brought in my life because of this book, because it attacks and targets our daily life routine and how we live our life and brings out small changes.

There are so many anecdotes, different stories, and things which make you inspire and make changes in your life for the greater good. The examples cited in this book are very inspiring, thought-provoking, and these examples are just minor changes which you need to bring in yourself to see how different of an individual you have become.

This book was given to me by my little cousin, and I am eternally grateful to her for gifting me this book.

See, James Clear has a very sophisticated approach, which is rooted in science, psychology, neuroscience. He understands human psychology so well and has drawn out so many behavioral approaches, different steps that one could use to inculcate, endorse, and absorb different productive habits.

He focuses on small changes; he does not tell us to bring out majestic and overwhelming changes in our lives. He focuses on little steps, because little steps, in the broader picture, are something very significant. If I am consistently trying to remember three words each day - three words each day is not a big number or something overwhelming of a step. But if you see it five years, ten years from now, if I remain consistent and try to memorize those words each day, I will have a very strong vocabulary and command on the words of any language if I choose to diversify my languages.

He has focused on marginal gains. See, marginal gains - we often overlook these things. Marginal gains are very important when it comes to daily routine, your productivity, the way you want to live your life, everything. We should not overlook marginal gains; I mean, these are the things which help us in the longer term, and if we stay consistent, we will be able to capitalize on these marginal gains and live a more healthy, prosperous, and active life.

We have to create systems around us to capitalize on our habits and changing ourselves as individuals. We should not rely on short-lived motivations; we should be more disciplined in our approach, in our routine, and such stuff.

So, I hope you get the picture. This book is a masterpiece; it is a game-changer, and I would suggest you read it, because I give it ten out of ten rating. And thank you so much for visiting my blog; I will see you in the next one.

Thank you everyone for your time and support. It means a lot to me. Do share your views and thoughts in the comments section below so that we can learn and grow together. Do follow my account for more such content. Have a nice day ahead. Take care.
