This question has been hot in my country for a long time. Some people take it not serious. They are ready to take any changes without any questions.
Others are extremely against any use of their personal data. And I am among them.

Some months ago society was discussing the bill they would forbid any possibility of ban after the 1st of Septmeber 2023, and if a citizen hadn't given his ban before, so he had lost all chances to do it later.

But it was just fake news!
Now official sources say loud that all people have no time limits in making any bans for use of their biometrics.
Of course, they will lose much "comfort and service", such as paying for anything with the help of a voice or a face. But for most people it's not a reason to share their data with God knows whom!

I've checked the info, and yes - we've no time limits.

Today I even saw an ad in our house about this! Wow! That was really surprising. A sa rulem such info is hidden somewhere deep in the web or laws, but now somebody really takes care of peopl and give them useful data.

On June 1, a law came into force according to which biometric personal data will be processed only within the Unified Biometric System (UBS). Banks and other organizations that store biometrics must transfer this data by September 30, 2023. In this case, organizations must notify clients 30 days in advance that their biometric data will be transferred to the EBS - unified biometric system.
A citizen can at any time refuse to collect and store data, as well as issue a ban on the storage of biometrics - for this you need to contact a special center. This ban can also be revoked later.
To refuse the use of biometrics by a specific organization, the user can issue a refusal directly to that organization. Some companies allow you to do this online. It will also be possible to revoke consent through State Services.

It was really good news.
