Proof of Access. 3Speak App. Automatically earn HIVE from Cuba? (EN/ES)

Yesterday I came across this tweet (or should I say Xs?) from HiveCuba where he explained that it was possible to earn HIVE automatically if we run a server on our pc, similar to how some people do to mine some cryptos and earn some satoshis in the process.

The idea interested me and I started to investigate more. The first and most important thing was to find a video or tutorial that would show me step by step what I had to do. After almost 1 hour searching in the profiles of several users, I managed to find both a video and a post that explained me exactly what I had to do in each moment. At the end of the post I will leave the links to all these posts, as well as other resources that are necessary.
The big question was: Will it work in Cuba?
The idea is basically to be rewarded for storing 2Speak videos on your pc and running the node constantly, this way the developers can find bugs, test the system and other features. Currently you pay 0.050 HIVE every so often, which is quite a lot if you have 1 whole day connected as far as I have seen.
Installing the software.
The first thing we have to do is download the 3Speak-app through the following link and install it.
It is something very simple and that is achieved in a few minutes.
After we have the software running on our PC, it is time to add an account.
We do this with our HIVE user and using the private posting key, this key is secure, as it is not sent anywhere on the internet.
NOTE: Here it gave me some problems, I had to close the software and reopen it again so that it would recognize the user, since at the beginning it did not update the interface. I have also read that, if it does not update itself, you have to press Control+R and it updates.
So far so good. My account was linked to the software. The next step is to start the Proof of Access.
For this we go to Settings-Proof of Access and we give it to initiate.
It didn't work for me, it didn't start and it kept on with a Not Synced sign.
Strange. This is where I realized that I would have to use VPN for the first time.
I put Proton VPN on and it worked like a charm.
This was all at 2am, so I was really tired and watching something work for me at that hour was a huge joy.

The next thing was to download some videos using the button: Download to IPFS node. This will allow you to link some videos and prove your Proof of Access.

The internet connection as always in Cuba is not the best. I tried to download some videos and eventually succeeded.
Now I had to verify that the video was validated. For this there is a service where you have to put your user name and the CID of the video. This takes a few minutes to validate after you download it.

Now it should work and I should see my rewards coming in. I had downloaded over 4 videos and almost 1 GB in total. I left my pc on with the internet and VPN running and went to sleep.
When I woke up, nothing had happened. I didn't have a single reward. I asked around and read quite a bit on the Discord group, but still no reward.
However, some users get rewards every 10 minutes inclusive.

I noticed several things:
You need to download a number of videos, at least more than 8 GB as shared to me in the group. This way I think I would have more chance to be chosen for rewards. One of the users that receives the most rewards, 3 days ago I posted that I had more than 30 videos downloaded and I was still downloading little by little. Evidently you need space on your pc.
I keep trying until I can see my name among the rewards. I don't think it would be worth it for us Cubans though. It requires a constant internet connection, storage space. Download a lot of videos initially and wait for the rewards to come eventually to see if the rewards cover the cost of your time and internet.

Proof of Access. 3Speak App. ¿Ganar HIVE en automático desde Cuba?
Ayer me encontré con este tweet (¿o debería decir Xs?) de HiveCuba donde explicaba que era posible ganar HIVE de forma automática si corríamos un servidor en nuestros pc, similar a como algunos hacen para minar algunas criptos y ganar algunos satoshis en el proceso.
La idea me intereso y comencé a investigar más. Lo primero y mas primordial era encontrar un video o tutorial que me indicara paso por paso lo que tenía que hacer. Despues de casi 1 hora buscando en los perfiles de varios usuarios, logre encontrar tanto un video como un post que me explicaba exactamente lo que tenia que hacer en cada momento. Al final del post les dejare los enlaces a todos estos posts, así como a otros recursos que son necesarios.
La gran pregunta era: ¿Funcionara en Cuba?
La idea básicamente consiste en ser recompensado por almacenar videos de 2Speak en tu pc y estar corriendo el nodo constantemente, de esta forma los desarrolladores pueden encontrar bugs, probar el sistema y otras funcionalidades. Actualmente se paga 0.050 HIVE cada cierto tiempo, lo cual es bastante si tienes 1 día entero conectado según he visto.
Instalar el software.
Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es descargar el software 3Speak-app mediante el siguiente enlace e instalarlo.
Es algo bien sencillo y que se logra en pocos minutos.
Después que tenemos el software corriendo en nuestro pc, es hora de adicionar una cuenta.
Esto lo hacemos con nuestro usuario de HIVE y usando la llave privada de posteo, esta llave está segura, ya que no es enviada a ninguna parte en internet.
NOTA: Aquí me dio algunos problemas, tuve que cerrar el software y volverlo a abrir para que me reconociera el usuario, ya que al principio no me actualizo la interfaz. He leído también que, si no se actualiza sola, debes de presionar Control+R y se actualiza.
Hasta aquí todo bien. Mi cuenta estaba vinculada al software. El próximo paso es Iniciar el Proof of Access.
Para esto vamos a Settings-Proof of Access y le damos a iniciar.
No me funcionaba, no iniciaba y seguía con un señal de Not Synced.
Que Extraño. Aquí fue donde me di cuenta que tendría que usar VPN por primera vez.
Puse la VPN Proton y funcionó de maravilla.
Todo esto fue a las 2am, así que estaba realmente cansado y mirar que algo me funcionara a esa hora, era una alegría enorme.
En esta web se puede ver como mi nodo estaba activo.
Lo próximo era descargar algunos videos mediante el botón: Download to IPFS node. Esto te permitirá vincular algunos videos y demostrar tu Proof of Access.
La conexión a internet como siempre en Cuba no es la mejor. Intenté bajar algunos videos y eventualmente lo conseguí.
Ahora tenía que verificar que el video estuviera validado. Para esto existe un servicio en el cual tienes que poner tu nombre de usuario y el CID del video. Esto demora unos pocos minutos para validártelo después que lo descargas.

Ahora sí, debería de funcionar y ver mis recompensas llegar. Había descargado más de 4 videos y casi 1 GB en total. Dejé mi pc encendida con el internet y la VPN funcionando y me fui a dormir.
Al despertar, nada había pasado. No tenía ni una sola recompensa. Pregunté y leí bastante en el grupo de Discord, pero aun así ninguna recompensa.
Sin embargo, a algunos usuarios les llegan recompensas cada 10 minutos inclusive.

Me he dado cuenta de varias cosas:
Necesitas bajar una cantidad de videos, al menos más de 8 GB según me comparten en el grupo. De esta forma creo que tendría más posibilidad de ser elegido para recompensas. Uno de los usuarios que más recompensa recibe, desde hace 3 días público que tenía más de 30 videos descargados y que seguía descargando poco a poco. Evidente necesitas espacio en tu pc.
Sigo intentándolo hasta poder ver mi nombre entre las recompensas. Aunque creo que no valdría la pena para nosotros los cubanos. Requiere de una conexión constante a internet, espacio de almacenamiento. Descargar muchos videos inicialmente y esperar que las recompensas lleguen eventualmente para ver si las mismas cubren los gastos de tu tiempo y del internet.
Los mantendré informados…
